On the subject of weight gaining, if you are a hard gainer in your teens it's going to be next to impossible to gain weight.

 

Also, thought I'd post this. It is an absolutely great video for those starting out, and a good portion of more experienced "weight lifters" (Putting it that way to encompass a larger group). In essence it's basic nutrition that far to few know. The guy is very experienced and knows what he is talking about. Good video to watch/listen to.

 

I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.

Yeah I remember avoiding stairs like the plague when I used to do squats...how much weight did you do?

The worst is when people who don't workout or do squats think you're lying about the pain and try to rush you up/down stairs.

I did squats yesterday and it doesn't hurt today :(

I remember the first time I did squats... When I got home and was working at my desk, I didn't realize how fatigued my legs were. When I tried to stand up, my legs were completely unresponsive and I just fell out of my chair and ate shit lol

My knees are kind of weak so after I usually do a big squat workout, later that day it hurts to bend.

I only did 70kg, probably a was the right amount of weight if they're still sore.

I deadlifed 100kg's(220lbs) today 5 times which is the most I've done. I think my form died towards the last few reps but it felt good

 

Also, couldn't add 2.5kg onto my bench from last week :(

Did legs this morning, they're are too sore right now, which is pretty good considering I have to work tonight.

I'm going to try lunges next leg workout, I haven't done them in ages. Last couple of leg days I haven't really been sore after.

 

I did 7 sets of deadlifts in yesterdays back workout, everything hurtsss

Usually I don't like to either, but I had some other things I needed to get done. I probably won't get back to the gym again until Monday. I just need a quick fix to hold me off until then.

I think my lower back is in need of a break. Whenever I squat or dead lift, on the left side I get a sharp pain. Even with just the bar when I warm up I get it. This is horrible.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Signed up for a half-marathon + 5k last night set for the last weekend of November in Seattle. Figured since I'd be up there already for Thanksgiving, I'd run it. Wanted to last year but my knee was buggin'.

Well. I went up 5kg (11lbs) in bench this week for the last set. Never gone up that much in one go. Sticking with the 5x5 routine then going onto incline bench and fly's and finishing off with chest dips is going well. I've noticed my strength in other exercises going up as well
