Now that Jagex is temporarily re-opening RS Classic anyone who has membership can start a new account play in Classic.

 

 

Will clans get their members to get accounts in Classic and start pking or will this have no effect whatsoever?

Nope. Any rs members can now play it for 2 weeks.

No effect, the wilderness is so different and the combat system are also different. Coupled with the fact that almost everyone would be a level-1.

It won't have any effect at all to be honest. The wild is all single, so its not like what we are used to with piling and tanking and binding.

Too bad most will have level 1 stats. :P It would be nice if everyone had their RS2 stats but since they don't ...

 

I doubt RS2 players will level up their RSC chars, it's only 10x harder there.

I doubt it will have much effect, RSC is little more than a mini game now compared to the game as a whole.

I sort of hope it'll take off, only to have the ability to join and play on RSC permanently open. I think it has a lot of potential to be used for some pretty fun events. There's no multi, which is a downside, but I don't really want that to change. It was those little things that made RSC nostalgia-filled.

 

So to sum it up, I really don't think you'll see legit wars held on RSC. It was really constructed with the individual pker in mind. But you might see an RSC fight pop up instead of a mithril war, as a lark.

And just try to log in and play it. As a RS2 product, I have to say the gameplay mechanics are terrible, lol. But then again, it is a 9 year old game :wink:

level 92 combat in rsc here. with 80 magic, and 80 strength. much harder to train in rsc. If only the rs2 peeps knew how hard it used to be.

im level 95 in rsc, logged in again yesterday after years of not being able to and was reminded how hard everything there is to do, would love to see some fun events there again , ffa pk anyone? :P

My opinion: it will have an effect once the full RSC is open, however only after a while when everyone got a chance to get some levels.

 

Who knows, though, we might have some new clans pop up ;)
