Wow..Spent 9 hours straight playing this for void range/mele....

 

This is what i did when got the points for mele helm...

 

 

Wow..Bought helm and was like yay! In my head...looked invent...ffs

 

Why don't they make a option to sell items back for points...

OK, enough of that, but back on topic now. Jagex can't cater to every person who makes a mistake. Simple as that. Something I might suggest is not playing for 9 hours straight. It's not really healthy and nothing good ever comes from nolifing. You accidently choosing another helm is proof that 9 hours of a computer screen can cause mistakes.

 

This would be better put in the Rants forum.

LOL. How in the world did you do that? You have to click on the item and CONFIRM that you want to spend your points on that item. I don't get it.

Bad luck there. :( At least you'll have an extra now.

 

Anyways moving this to rants.

Always pay attention to this kind of things. I always double check before i buy anything.

I am more confused by your ability to speak outside of quickchat, a feature that is normally restricted to people over the age of 13.

Honestly, I have done that too, but I didn't make such a huge complaint, even though I'm only 95 combat... (Novice ftl). The thing is it was your mistake, you should take that into your own hands and resolve it. Simply play a few more hours, thats what RS is, a time waster :P.

Because then people would just sell back helms and be able to interchangeably obtain whatever helmet they wanted at any given time.

I do agree that you should be able to sell back items that you previously bought in minigames. Maybe like, 1/4 of the tokens back, like in Animal Crossing?

 

But honestly though, it's your own mistake that you bought another range helm. That's why you should DOUBLE CHECK what you are buying. Or simply, don't buy at all.

That's why there is a CONFIRMATION SCREEN

make it only sellbackable after 10-15mins after that its soulbound like in WoW except its 1hr in wow

I still don't get how you could do this without completely ignoring the screen.

You have to click the item then click confirm.

If you fail on one click then you should atleast notice the wrong name below the second click.

With the buy/sell feature there is no need for a confirmation screen as you can sell back the item for 1/4 of the points/tokens.

I think he meant that you should only be able to sell back your void armor 10-15 minutes after you bought it. That way, if you click the wrong item you can get the one that you wanted if you notice right away, but you aren't able to effectively have all the items for the price of one.

wtf what did my idea have to do with the g.e? i didnt realize a simple line of text would be misinterpreted THAT much, i meant armour thats untradeable obv not tradeable stuff :/
