That's why I'd try to keep only my accessories and shoes black, and even then it's not easy to wear. As Lent said, raw indigo denim is a safe bet. Black belt, black sheos, black socks (or patterened, but not white). Though, if you want formal black pants, buy those instead. Blazers and shorts, yes or no? It's really the collared shirt with shorts that I'm wondering about. I like the look, but it's too dressy for me to wear normally, so I wore it out to a casual restaurant this past summer. This isn't dressy at all by the way, you can wear this every day if the weather allows it. Even if your shirt is tucked in, which I recommend. Belts are the best, man.
