Taking out stopping power makes it so you can't just paste SP to a low recoil low power weapon to equalize the damage against higher recoil higher powered weapons. 3 round burst weapons don't need higher chances to 1 hit people anyways. On a different note,as much as I love this game so far I really don't think people should get their hopes up too much. demonsbane37 Posted September 13, 2010 Share Posted September 13, 2010 Im just glad i will have another game to be adicted to for a few months.I hope it doesnt take to long to get cash for whatever weapon i decide i like best, one thing that sucked about prestiging in mw2 was losing my acr or tar21 or m16a4.Oh and its going to suck and be awesome custimizing my stuff, suck because i have about as much creativity in my body as a jar of dirt and be awseome because we wont all look like clones. But I hope there will be a way to "buy" an option to keep certain things when you prestige, such as (if they have them) gun camos or progress on a challenge. They would have to limit the amount of things you could keep, maybe up to 3? That's what I hated most on MW2, prestiging meant losing my hard-earned Fall camo on my M16 :sad:. I mean they call themselves PC gamers and they thought that dedicated servers were free? How dumb do you have to be lol. The prices are pretty damn good too. Lets compare: $15/mo for a 18 player server in Black Ops$22/mo for an 18 player server in Counter Strike: Source$39.59/mo for an 18 player server in Call of Duty 4$32/mo for an 18 player ranked server in Bad Company 2 And then you look at the unranked cost for a server which is honestly next to nothing, meaning that pretty much any clan or group of friends can have their own fun server to practice/scrim or do what they want for, what, like a $1 a month? People are so quick to jump on the bandwagon that they don't actually look at anything objectionably or think about it for a moment. MW2 was dumb because it didn't support dedicated servers at all. In MW2 they made the base weapon damage too high, people have confirmed that in Black Ops you actually have to land a good number of shots (maybe no 1 hit M16?). I didn't know what they were laughing about, so I just went inside the store. I pre-ordered Black Ops, and then went outside right as one of the kids in the family left the store too. The dad asked the kid who just came out "Did they kick you out or something? I thought for a second there that guy was escorting you out." Of course, when he said, "that guy" was refering to me, because I just happened to be wearing a plain blue shirt which was the exact game color the Gamestop employees were wearing. I didn't want to get involved so I just pretended I didn't hear them and walked off. I think the family was pulling some prank in the store while I was in there, but I didn't notice anything because I was too busy pre-ordering. Come to think of it they were probably doing the Battletoads prank. I kind of feel sorry for Gamestop employees. IW got too cocky and thought they could add anything to the gameplay and the title alone (not the content) would earn the game praise among its players. Yea, that worked for about a month, then people discovered OMA and commando... Treyarch, on the other hand, are very cautious and observant of players' opinions. Cod WaW was a damn good game and I'd punch anyone in the face who said it wasn't. Tell me why it wasn't. I never played WaW but I heard from others that all and all they did a good job at it. Also they have learned from the mistakes from IW and have improved on what was needed for this game.
