I went to a tournament last week in which one of the four dojos participating brought almost only Junior blackbelts.It turns out that in that style you START as a Junior blackbelt with a white stripe, and proceed through it.But since Junior blackbelts are traditionally a student who has tested for blackbelt, but does not reach that studio's age requirement (a rare occurance), they basically got a division to themselves.Meanwhile, the normal under blackbelt division had as low as two participants per division. It's a pain to show up expecting a full tournament, then only have to spar one person to win first place. March 20, 201115 yr Meh, it's even worse when there are subtitles you can read but you can also just understand the original language of the movie. You can't just ignore the subtitles and watch the movie, but actually looking at the movie without being distracted by subs is more intense. Though I have to say, I prefer subtitles over dubs any day.
