I really, really hate political correctness in regards to race. It adds so many barriers. If you really want people in general to move past what color people are, then stop making so many [bleep]ing distinctions. Why not emphasize WE as HUMANITY vs. we as all these highly individualized and even more highly redundant and moronic classification systems of melanin levels.

I never have to worry about being politically correct. I am one of the politically INCORRECT people. I have no boundaries. If you think it is horribly offensive, I've probably said it before.

People get mad when I only tell black jokes or Jew jokes, but I would LOVE to tell white jokes if there were actually good ones out there.

Regardless if there are jokes that fit into all racial categories, there will be someone that's going to be offended, no matter what.

As an American who was actually born in Africa, I find it a little strange we refer to Black people born in America as "African-Americans". Speaking of racism - I hate the fact that people don't even bother understanding terms before using them these days.

There's a subtle yet profound difference between racism (the act of being racist) to simply acknowledging that there are different ethnicities and cultures in the world.

 

To digress; it's also saddening to see that people don't realise a simple fact that it's not the words that offend, it's the context that the user uses them that does.

Having a serious issue with going to sleep, the pain killers i'm currently taking make me super hyper. Its now 9am just about and have given up on going to sleep after laying in bed for a few hours (lost count).

I share your pain - I slept at 6:30am and woke up at 11:30am today.

 

The body clock is weird - sometimes waking up early doesn't make you sleep earlier, but rather, the opposite is true. Or instead, it could make you sleep too early, which leads to developing a pattern that makes you a night owl yet again.

 

Life is unfair. Why?!

What's your pre-bedtime routine like?

 

Is there anything you could do to try and calm you down again, like taking hot drinks, having a bath, reading...

 

If all else fails, runecrafting does a fantastic job of sending people to sleep. But seriously, I've found that trying to sleep straight after not just RuneScape but any gaming session doesn't tend to lead to a good night's sleep.
