I live with people that snore like truck drivers, and the walls/floors are the least soundproofed walls/floors I've ever listened to someone snore through. I sleep better in the rain because it drowns out all other noise and I can concentrate on falling asleep more easily.

I'll be tossing and turning for hours if it's raining. I love sleeping while it rains. The idea of being in my safe warm house while it's storming outside puts me to sleep very easily. Also, I find the sound of it soothing.
