You find none, but you remember you had leftovers in the cave.

Isabel heads to the bar area and sits down on an isolated stool. Then she whispered to the bar tender, "what can I get for a few bottles of fine rum? Maybe some lodgings, if this is also an inn?"

"Please, my good man" says Alastor, handing the man a gold coin pre-emptivly.

 

"I just came here from elsewhere, yes. Just looking around for anything interesting. Would you happen to know of anything going on around here?"

I walk back into the cave, and try to absorb the scraps directly to digest them faster.

You go to the tavern keep and ask if you could possibly trade some rum for a place to stay. He looks at you for a little while... No... Seems like a scam, if you can get me some gold, then sure (You start with some, around 50 coins)

The man prepares you a refreshing looking drink "Ahh, not much, that I can think off, but you can always check around the city or the docks for something, people here are friendly once you get to know them"

You float ashore to a foggy island, cracks of bone and wails can be heard... It would be cold if you could feel anything.

You digest them, but a bit too quickly and get some intergestion, not too bad though, perhaps a little rest to just feel better.

"Ah sorry... at any rate if I joined would I be able to keep my own weaponry? Provided it is not all to exotic of course."

"Then that I shall do, good sir, that I shall do."

 

Alastor finishes the rest of his drink, thanks the Barman for the information, and wanders out of the tavern, reading a nearby sign to check where the dock is.

"Hmmm, how much do you require? Also, I'll throw in another coin if I can get some news about the going-ons in these parts."

Phyl continues his wanderings.

I curl up in a corner, exposing only my bone-plated back.

Richard walks towards the sounds, trying out a fwoosh (engulfing hand in magical fire) as he does.

Retech:

 

"Hmm, just 10 pieces will get you a night stay." You hand him 11 pieces and ask for news. "Well you must be new here, we're at war.. The chillwind to the north have blockaded some of our islands, and the king saids that its an act of war, there's been mass recruiting everywhere over the kingdom."

 

Ross

 

You wander off into the city and find the docks with no hassle, you just followed the scent of the sea. There are a few stands selling fish and assorted goods from the ocean, and a few people seem to be running asking people questions.

"Ha! I would hope you had your own weaponry my dear boy, dangerous time to be living in and made even more dangerous with the war. If you can give your name and we'll have you on the ship departing shortly.

You rest and you feel fine, and walk out of the cave.

"Pirates? You better be joking, telling that to anyone serious could get you killed. We're civilised people."

You don't find much at all, but at least the cold isn't getting to you.

 

Mather

 

Your hands spark and fizzle, no fwoosh. You keep walking to find a foggy settlement.

"Hmmm, I will be back later for my night's rest. I have some business to attend to. If I do not return, consider the coins a gift." Isabel flashes a smile, before walking out the door. Then she searches for a recruiter.

Richard shakes his hand to get some of the water out of his glove then attempts to fwoosh again as he enters the settlement.

I open a small piece of skin, form a pocket, put the bag with clothes inside, and graft the skin back over it.

Alastor looks around for any kind of sign or recruitment document for a merchent fleet or a soldier. He figured the best way to get out to see would be one of the two. He could always jump ship later, anyway.

Phyl decides to make a bone knife out of the rabbit's carcass.

It doesn't take long, you find a queue of people lined up to a man in uniform

You find a shabby looking pub.

No fwoosh again, and your life energy that is keeping you animated begins to feel diminished, perhaps you shouldn't try that until you rest. You enter the settlement, you find animated skeletons, just like yourself, among them are a few hardy pirates.

 

Ross

 

One of the men come up to you? "Hey! Uhh, looking for some work, we're going on a voyage to the Northen archipeligo but pirates have been sighted along the root and people are scared, we promise though, it'll be safe."

 

Nex

 

You rip yourself open and just begin to bleed, you feel pain but luckily your regeneration takes over and it heals.

You remove a bone and begin crafting a knife, but the rabbit bones are weak and it wont serve well in combat.

I am Enarir... Soriel and with that Enarir went on the ship.

"Well, I might be interested? What is in it for me?"

I'm not a skeleton, I have green flesh and pale white skin as well as yellow eyes and two j-shaped scars which reveals the colourof the flesh right above my left eye. My mouth and nose are covered.

 

I rest a little then I ask the skeletons what to do for fun.
