It's more fun to piss and moan, tbh. It's much easier to be negative than it is to be positive. I think that is part of why there is so much hate and intolerance in the world.

Why? I can understand both parties. It was supposed to come out today, it didn't. Not a huge deal, but they also didn't do what they said they would.

 

Some people seem to think that saying something negative is always bad. Criticism doesn't always need to be constructive. If you don't do what you say you will do, then expect to take grieve from it.

Why? I can understand both parties. It was supposed to come out today, it didn't. Not a huge deal, but they also didn't do what they said they would.

I don't think he was condemning disagreeing with Jagex over this. I think he was just reminding us to back down the aggression a bit and try to remain civil with each other.

This is actually what I'm most worried about. Every time they try to update the graphics, it seems to break a whole lot of stuff.

From what I figured is that Jagex is constantly pushing it with what their graphics can do and it is starting to get more so complicated to update everything without a hiccup. I wouldn't be surprised if updates actually start coming slower just so they can manage to get everything to work. As the game gets bigger the more difficulty they'll have with the updating. It's a browser game that updates pretty recently with very little server downtime; they'll eventually hit a limit and have to revamp their system, but it's really nothing to be surprised about.

This was the most universally anticipated update this season, which needs to be understood better by the above mentioned.

Yes, it will be next week. It will be a week later than it was supposed to be. Yes, a week probably won't kill most of us. However, if you don't care [when it comes out], you have no stake, and you have no say.

This would be a great argument IF we didn't pay to play this game, BUT because we do pay, it's the worst argument ever. It's not as though jagex is slaving their asses off for nothing- it's their job, and if you suck at your job your customers will not be at ease, and saying they can't express their disappointment or anger is a childish point of view.

In other words, it can be accepted that errors and problems occur, but, as a customer of any business, if my expectations aren't met, or promises aren't met, I receiver the right to [bleep] at said business. Doesn't mean I'll leave them, or don't understand. It just means that I'll complain. Heck, if my fries are cold and soggy at McDonalds, I take them back.

If you look at their explanation, it looks as if the problem they are taking a week to fix will actually stop a lot of the bugs and graphical glitches many people moan about. I think it is worth waiting an extra week for that.
