Now if we can take this picture to be canon that means that the new god bows that are theorized to be released with elite clues penetrate prayer due to the fact that in the form the KQ was in in the pic it has immunity from range and mage.

 

The meerkats are also following you but that might just be a fun little jagex thing or it could be a new TT familiar

Edit: Oh I think I get what you're saying. You think KQ can protect from range and mage fully in the first form. It isn't true. It's just a super high boosted defense from the shell (confirmed by Jagex). The 2nd form has pray melee because it is able to fly, thus super high defense to melee. But I've killed KQ with GS on slayer tasks before, you can solo it pretty easily with a GS on both forms.

It would make sense that KQ would drop elite cluescrolls

Jagex mentioned a drop update for KQ, giant mole, KBD, and chaos elemental would be getting a drop update since their drops were updated.

As small as the picture is, I'm 100% that the bow, shoes, and cape are new. What would likely be a Zamorak Hide Coif is also shaped rather strangely, meaning it could be something different as well.

In the other picture, the character was wearing red sandals. Also in this picture the coif looks more rounded than normal, and the cloak has a bump on it towards the top, although that could be a shoulder.

The bow and boots look new.

But the boots may just be the standard boots.

Also, the cape is the same they had in the other TT image from the twitter hints.

It's the Zamorak Cloak.

Boots are normal old red boots, zammy cloak, the armor is Zamorak D'hide, but the bow is definitely not a Dark bow, lacks all the depth and spiky-ness.

Are they the meerkats we saw in JagEx's Twitter update stood behind the player? :o Kind of hard to tell with the picture being so small, but there's two of them.

Yep, those are the meerkats that were in the first TT twitter hint, and yes. There are two of them so I assume those will come in pairs if you get them from a TT clue.

I'm not sure if you should take much from the fact that the bow is being used against the KQ. Although you are right, Jagex has a nasty habit of doing nonsensical things in images / videos. I'm pretty sure I remember one of Jagex's teaser videos a while ago being them meleeing Kree'ara at one stage. :unsure:

wow i didnt except that fast of a reaction :thumbsup: okay so we can nix that part about the god bows breaking through prayer cause i did look it up afterwards and you guys are right its now bulletproof protections like we have but its still a new bow, the meerkats and its a hint that the KQ will drop the clues

Saw this picture last week, didn't think any of it was new. However, it does seem like there are some Meerkats (they're a special familiar for treasure-trails).

This confirms that the meerkats in the twitter pic are a reward, and not part of a clue. Should be fun to have new pets, but they definitely need to expand the POH pet house capacity.

I have a feeling the new clues will go something like this; Go see the meerkats (wherever they are), they tell you to kill the KQ to get your next clue, and then they follow you. Once you've killed KQ, talk to them and they give you the next clue.

I'm definitely excited for this to come out! I want to know exactly how the Meerkats work. If they're a familiar that helps with treasure trails, that would be cool. :D New rewards will be good too ^^

Upon inspection i think every single (visible) item that puppet is wearing is new.

For all we know all the items the person is wearing could be new. When you program, they could be using the graphics for the blessed dragonshide armor to test new armor. They don't have to wait for moders to make the new models to test out items. Although I am pretty interested at a summoning reward, not that I like summoning. Nice find!
