Peronix
Yup. First thanksgiving tons of turkeys all around RuneScape which drop food equivilant to lobbies. The last two years... you kill a few turkeys in an isolated pen in lumbridge and that's it. You don't even get any turkey.

ilovecuttingyews
Well, considering that Thanksgiving is an American holiday (we have it in Canada too, but it's in October), I personally believe that this is more then enough. It's good that Jagex recognises that the USA makes up a good chunk of the players, but it's still not worth having a whole unique event every year. IHasChicken
Personally, I think it's a conspiracy. Jagex didn't make a good Thanksgiving event, because this year's updates, mostly, sucked so hard, so there's nothing to give thanks for :P JOIN CHICKENSWEEPERS TODAY! Synthox
You didn't even get any xp for killing the turkeys. The only good thing about the event is that you get to hit 2000's on stuff :) TT rewards: 2 ranger boots, Zamorak page 1 (2x), Guthix page 1, Ancient page 2 You must construct additional oak larders doors... I mean pylons Barrows: 10. Total value~22.3 mil. Ahrim Robeskirt is currently the item I have received the most.

Youmu
Worst thing is, for those that HAVE done it last year, we can't do it again... :( I enjoyed killing the turkeys though, hitting massive numbers were fun. (You can do that in A Soul's Bane too, but only during the quest...) Get over yourself.Just mentioning getting the same holiday event 2 years in a row puts me on your cabbage list? I feel honored, yet coldly alone under your attention. The Thanksgiving event is along the lines of the flowers that Jagex does now in Spring. It's such a minuscule thing that arguing over any facet of it is ultimately inconsequential. It's a short distraction for new players in Thanksgiving to get an emote, and trying to make it into anything bigger is just a major waste of time and thought. Think of it like a quest that is only available seasonally. You can only do it once like any other quest, but it is only available for a limited time. I did the event in 2008, got the emote and the Cornucopia. I had no idea that they didn't bring back the cornucopia this year or last year, although it is an extremely rare drop from chickens. Zaaps1
There's also that cornucopia thing, but I guess that doesn't really count since you can get it outside of Thanksgiving, but whatever, Christmas is only a month away :\ ~It's Super Effective! Dax
I've grown tired of holiday events. In my opinion, cut it down to the big three, actually make them good and yeah, that would improve. Although I surprisingly found Halloween alright this year, better than others. #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
