So I died at Nex to a nasty 650 "die now, in a prison of ice" plus a 200, because my team was too dumb to click the correct icicle.

 

When I got back to my grave, this happened:

 

Can see that a pile exists, but pile cannot be clicked. Wat.

 

So after trying all kinds of [cabbage] to get it, I rage and teleport and decide to buy full ceremonial and go in again to see what I can do. This happens:

 

The [bleep]ing items are stuck on the wrong layer. Only visible from the bank layer, when they should only exist on the lower layer. Rage. I try telegrab to no avail, and then decide to try sliding down with the pile right clicked and then trying to grab something. It worked!!! Got my stuff back. But seriously, this glitch is horrible and Jagex should feel bad.

Are you sure it isn't something similar to the sara rope bug? Anyways, would have sucked to lose all that lol.

And yeah, I was pretty much ready to quit if Jagex was going to lose me all that stuff in addition to wrongly muting me twice this month. Getting fed up with their [cabbage] as it is. And of course they say that items lost due to a bug are just forfeit, because that makes a lot of sense.

So when you slid down, you right-clicked the pile, and just before you hit the bottom layer, you clicked an item?

Then you ran over to grab the item, causing the whole pile to become grab-able?

ouch, full arma + xbow lost due to a glitch like that? Good thing you have screenies, it could be helpful for fixing it

I clicked to go down the slide and then quickly right clicked the pile so the menu stayed open as I slid. When I reached the bottom and was able to move, I clicked take chaotic crossbow and at that point was able to re-click the pile to get everything else.

 

Stan- I fixed it, didn't lose the stuff. Thank God.

He didn't loose it, and that wasn't the point. Your trolling has VASTLY diminished Golv....

If he had lost it, he probably wouldn't have cared IF he had lost it in a real way, not by some glitch.

The point of this post is about the glitch that makes it hard to get said items back.

Regardless of if you're ready to loose an item or not, it's pretty unfair to get back to where you die, and see your items sitting there....but not be able to pick them up due to a glitch which should be fixed.

If he had died, and simply didn't make it back in time, I don't think he would have made a new thread over it. He might post a picture of a collapsing grave in the Screenshot thread...possibly with a "GF me" quote on it...but that'd be about it.

 

If you're going to troll, at least understand what to troll about.....

Ever since that update they've been doing a lot of patch updates....hmm update in 30 mins now..

Oh I am glad you didn't lose that Xbow, I would hate to lose items with large amounts of tokens required.

Who said anything about using crappy equipment? I'm pretty sure he said to take stuff you wouldn't care about losing. If you're ready to lose your chaotics, then feel free to bring them.

If you are referring to it being inconsistent in its statements then you should look at the problem from another angle

 

It always seems to go out of its way to prove the smart people wrong, so right now, it'd say it is being very much consistent in its own mind.

 

As for the bug, it's unbelievable that you got your stuff back, jagex should really test this stuff more(this is the second bug i've heard regarding nex'es nest/area).

I know it's been said but yes, logging does work. I died there yesterday and same thing happened, so I just logged in and out and boom could take my stuff. And yes, you can destroy grave and log out, your stuff will still be there unseen by others for as much time you had left on grave.
