January 5, 200620 yr I miss the little bubbles that appeared above your head when you did something. :D At a party you can actually tell people were eating cakes and drinking beer/wine.
January 6, 200620 yr Another thing that I really miss is how ranged wasn't as big of a skill as it is now. When you checked the front page you only saw a handful of 99ers and only about 40 ppl above 90 so when someone reached 90+ ranged you knew who they were and it was much greater of an achievement. I felt sad when i came to rs2 and saw people got my 94 ranged I had in rsc in a quarter of the time because of how fast ranged training is. I've been cursing new range since I started playing RS2. Because it was made into a whole combat skill, people who had a high level in RSC lost huge amounts of Hit Point xp. The only thing I really miss is the pking, it was so much better. I liked the dueling a lot better too, and as people said before magic being easier was nice. Good to see an old ranger even if we might not have been on the best terms s4ndm4n. :P
January 6, 200620 yr I miss duel-anywhere & the easy going pace of RSC. It took time to do everything properly. You would not dare to withdraw GP from the bank unless there was a darn good reason :P I dunno, there's just a lot of things which RSC offered, but it will always be a foregone memory. Lately I've been going KBD'ing on RSC with Oergg to reacquaint myself with the game I enjoyed so much. It's great fun, but nostalgic at the same time  By The_Jeppoz
January 6, 200620 yr i was always f2p in rs1. I miss the people(they type of people), there was something nicer about back then. I'd say the majority were of a higher calibre back then. I also miss the legskirt conversion, and low prices. I used to think those prices were outrageous, i;d give anything for 100each coal now...well, not anything, but something aroound the 100gp mark. :P
January 6, 200620 yr The thing I miss = catching and the pk system The thing I DONT miss = widthdrawing and trading gp.
January 6, 200620 yr RS2 is too big. I haven't played for a long while now, but even before I stopped playing the area was too big. It seems like they're added on just to say they have updates, and not for any real purpose. RSC was a far superior game, and introducing RS2 drove out a lot of the old players. I don't recognise anybody on this board anymore, apart from a select few. I doubt many people would know me either. I guess that's just the growth of the community, which is also another problem with RS2.
January 6, 200620 yr boing hill, and rsc theiving Yes and Yes. And dueling. :( Oh how I miss the old duels in draynor.Agreed :D And sleeping bags  they took mine away when they made rs2

I guess that's just the growth of the community, which is also another problem with RS2. I know what you mean :(. Feels the same way for me. Only players I remember are about 10-15 that are still playing and are in RSD. Most of the famous pkers is another thing I miss. Sue me, Adx1, Low Fighter, Da Killmasta, Tha Champ, 311 Deaths, etc.
January 6, 200620 yr Duel anywhere, the ability to change legs to skirts and male plate to female plates and the way Varrock F2P wildy was ruled by people in Monks Robes with 31 Prayer, an R2H and a Ruby Ammy. I miss the fact you could wear Rares, without the fear of disconnecting and losing it to a stupid Evil Chicken, my Santa Hat gets worn for about 20mins a year now because I'm so worried about losing it.
January 6, 200620 yr The thing I DONT miss = widthdrawing and trading gp. what do you mean?? Also miss the colours, they were more vibrant then and rune was a much cooler colour. Mith was also very different looking to rune, sometimes its hard to tell these days. And with what modus mentioned, the old 3 hit system was better for pkers. But then again, I dont pk so I'm glad.
January 6, 200620 yr go to where the coal truck shortcut is in rsc. go to the east side and walk as close to the shore as you can. as your char walks it looks like it is going up and down a hill really quickly- i.e : boinging. you have to experience it to understand it. and i certainly agree with the bank/gp depositing/withdrawl update we got in rs2. was a pain putting gp in the bank in classic. or any stackable item. could only deposit stacks of ten at a time(from memory). so it toook forever if you had to deposit millions Runescape nick : Fat_SlugOwner of Ears, Scythe and a 10 year veteran cape :D
January 6, 200620 yr I missed the silly animation and how I can kill NPCs much higher than me easily.

Thank you.

I haven't played in awhile tho so i'd need someone to verify this.
January 6, 200620 yr I don't miss having to wait to talk to a banker/NPC if he was already in dialogue with another player. I do miss the auto-dropping of ore/logs/etc, when your inventory was full, but I guess if that was around now, autoers would have even higher levels. And I definitely don't miss those creepy looking bearded women.
January 6, 200620 yr Karamja fishing :( 99 Fishing 11/12/2006 790th fisher to 99Former Tip.it Events team leader
January 7, 200620 yr I'm tired of everyone saying how nice people were back in rsc...been playin since september 2001 and there was always a scammer on every corner...
January 7, 200620 yr To me, the most missed thing is Thrandor the smith. He used to stand in his smithy between Varrock east bank and Auburys rune shop, and was converting legs to skirts/skirts to legs for free. As long as he was around, legs and skirts had the same value in game. Now, skirts are worth a lot less, take for example all the treasure trail trimmed/god skirts and the dragon plate skirts. Oh how I wish him to come back. I also miss the RSC thieving when the npc attacked you when they caught you. That way you got combat exp and drops while thieving. Now you just stand stunned and waste your time... Regarding people being nicer in RSC - well the very first few months the game was public there was a nice community, but as the game grew larger and attracted more player, the jerks came. In fact I find it a lot better now, with have the ingame report option to report people misbehaving. Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)
January 7, 200620 yr I loved rsc theiving. Also I liked how armor looked on it. Thats about it though.
