Featured Replies

Just thought I'd post it here on tip.it for anyone interested to save a few bucks on membership cards, Target is selling 90 day RuneScape Cards (Regular price $22.50) for $18.00 shipping is only $1.95 that's what it shows for me in NJ. Total comes to $19.94

Not sure if this sale applies to in store but it's online for sure until May 21st I believe.

There's an advert for this on the runescape homepage.

It's still 6 bucks a month so you might as well pay with credit, unless you're under 18, in which case you're screwed either way.

This doesn't make a difference for me. I bought my card from Shoppers Drug Mart a couple of weeks ago, and there's no Targets in Canada. :P

What is the point of membership if there haven't been to much of good content lately? :???:

Well you have to factor in that most of the people who buy it are actually enjoying the content and don't share your opinions, tough as that may be to comprehend.

Not tough to comprehend, just strange. Often updates are methods to level a skill, but what's point of a skill if it's potential use is not updated? For example, instead of releasing a D & D here and there, work on a update to make Firemaking skill really useful. Besides i have factored in other players to a small extent. And it was meant towards new updates not current ones.

Just got mine today.

I've been contemplating getting members back for this game.

I've bee skilling a whole lot lately (I can't seem to get into combat anymore) and I do want to get 99 Fletching.

To enjoy previously released content? Believe it or not, the majority of runescape players hasn't completed even half of the game yet.

Also, considering some players are free to play (hence why they are buying the card in the first place), they never had access to the content you oh so much like to complain about.

Which isn't what this thread is about.

Well, most people I know who buy membership do it for other content. Different people like different things.

Hell I know a bunch of people who buy membership just to grind Castle Wars all day. (You'll be seeing a lot more though with the completionist cape update.)

But that's a tad off-topic, so I'll bring it back a bit.

Purchased my 30 day card at Best Buy for like $7.95. Guess I wouldn't have saved too much if I bought 90 days compared to that price. Although it would've been nice.

I bought two. Will have to prep an account for members, might have to prep one for a sibling as well. Never been a member before, we'll see how it goes.

99 dungeoneering achieved, thanks to everyone that celebrated with me!
