This is a terrible event.

Patch notes were awesome today, quite a few things I personally suggested to Mod Ryan a few weeks ago were finally fixed (Comp Cape kept in gravestone, Drakan's Medallian, Sixth Age Ring kept in gravestone). And multiple Sunshine/Swiftness is awesome as well.

 

The Christmas Event though sucks. It's just tedious tasks being done again and again. Lame. Mod Ana always makes everything boring and tedious.

I don't understand what they did to the equipment screen... I don't see a change.

Then you're in a minority. The general consensus is that it was an extremely tedious, pointless, and boring event.

They seem to have changed the order of the slots around on the equip tab. For example, Pocket Slot used to be at the bottom left where Ring now is, and Aura used to be at the top left where Neck is now. 

 

It seems like it's now ordered to where it actually fits on your character, with the non-specific ones (Pocket/Aura) at the bottom.

Used up my festive aura in 3 mins on green charm pouches, its so bloody fast

I noticed, uncharged pouches are now the fastest way of training summ :d

The tasks are tedious. I was getting two points per action at best. Throwing explosive snowballs was fun for about one hundred points.

It's fast when you have to do the wizard banquet, because the points actually increase as you do well and you don't have to sit through long animations to get them.

It's probably fastest to just do the wizard banquet the whole way through :P These guys have blackholes for stomachs.

Was a decent event, though a bit repetative. If you just follow the enchanced events you can cap in about an hour. Jagex doesn't seem to be putting much effort into these Christmas events though. Im sure it will be more interesting once Black Santas come into play.

I think I can recall Jagex saying they would stop celebrating IRL holydays. (Back when Guthix died). Have they said anything about why they went back on that?

I can't imagine that stance being too popular, maybe something to do with that?

Oh I guess they just changed the full sized equipment screen, but not the order when it is small and you just see the boxes. I wish that order was more logical as well...

Lol can't imagine really drinking vinegar like wine  :wacko: and the snowball arena is pretty fun.
