so i was thinking about getting these ownage dark gloves for my pure. (i heard someone say you dont need def for them idk if thats true or not)

 

 

 

Well one of the subquests is monkey madness, well we all know pures do this quest all the time, but, you cant go back to derio (sp?) ( the guy you talk to that takes you to the hidden glider base) or else you will get all that nasty def xp right?

 

 

 

Or, sence i havent finished monkey madness on my pure yet, can i do the 100th quest b4 finishing monkey madness so i can go get the red banana and the special monkey nuts? I dont think so cause i remember a req for the mini quest was finishing mm.

 

 

 

So, in conclusion, the best gloves pures can get are the "rune" gloves?

 

This is of course if you dont need a def lvl for these gloves in the first place, if thats true then iron will be the best :cry:

You can get mith gloves as a pure.

To get the dragon ones you still need to finish the 8 sub-quests. So the best he would be able to get are rune.

You can complete Monkey Madness without getting all of that defence experience. You have to talk to him after you finish the quest to get the experience.

As I said in another thread, "Dark" gloves require no defense lvl to wear, assuming they would require more than dragon in the first place. My friend with 54 defense wears a pair of "dark" gloves, so I seriously doubt any of the other gloves require levels to put them on. As far as monkey madness goes, you're probably right about 1 def pures.

You cant do the one that requires legends quest anyway, because you get def xp from dragon slayer.

You get 20k attack, strenght, defence, and HP, and then extra defence and hp, or extra attack and strength.

Yes, this has bothered me a lot. We cannot do lumbridge guide because of 2k defense from nature spirt. We cannot do sir amik because hero's and d slayer give def. We cannot do awoegwi because we cannot return to ape atoll without talking to daero.

 

 

 

Unless jagex fixes this we can only have mith gloves. Now impures can get 13 str that we cannot.

3 for berserker helms

 

5 for obby shields

just saying im kinda annoyed that we cant finish this quest with our pures, and get the reward (dark gloves)

 

 

 

I mean, what i want them to do is make it that you go so some other npc to get the xp reward or atleast get the option whtn you talk to him

Good. Jagex made this the almost-perfect quest, pures not being able to beat just makes it better ;) Don't forget that you also have to beat dragon slayer to beat this quest.

People with 1 prayer can't get better then mithril or adam gloves either :(
