The massive cooking experience

Lep

Recommended Posts

Am I the only one who's curious where all this raw food comes from for these people to cook tens of thousands a day? They can't get it themselves, that'd take up too much time.

Check out the highscores, and these people have 100s of millions of experience in cooking. Whether it's sharks, lobs, or potatoes :o

The only possible thing that comes to mind for me...are that the auto fishers you see, are fishing souly to sell to them. Or that the Jagex Mods have infinate Raws, and sell to them if they have enough cash.

Thoughts? :?

Autoers suck, but without them, people wanting a 99 in these skills would have to have over 100M.

Sad but true.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

Never thought of it like that.

I don't care about autoers, because they help the economy, and I profit over the economy.

If I get 100M raw shrimps off of an autoer for 10 each and sell it for 20 each, I'm not going to feel bad. Srry, but true.

It may be true that autoers are a big source of it, but don't forget how massive just the general fishing population of the f2p worlds are. F2p basically is p2p's haven for getting cheap raw supplies in mass. Through going from middleman to middleman in the scheme of merchanting, that's where those huge deals of selling thousands at once come from. All a combination of autoers and f2p'ers exhausting hours and hours into getting all of those mass numbers of raws.

many people sell raw fish, many of them fish them themselves, but ive never seen an auto fisher because I think it may be too hard for them to program something to switch the spot whenever the fishing spot moves

It wouldn't be hard at all for the program, just auto fishing isnt the most popular auto out there

So you're saying every p2per is an auto-ing shark fisher?

No? I didn't even mention sharks, and if you got that out of what I did say, can you show me the sentences where you thought I did? I only said that most p2p are the consumers of the raws brought into the game. Sharks I don't really know about - are they autoed much to be in such a high supply?

Some top cooks fish their own lobs, sharks, trout, salmons, whatever

matt was in my old clan. he doesnt auto. he has more determination than most, hence his fletching wc fm etc & cooking are 99. he usually stops at position one, then usually just lets his rank fall. until he is rank 1 in cooking it will be his #1 goal in Rs.

dont critiscize because your pixels arent as l33t.

Most of the fish I catch I sell as raws.

I'm no autoer.

I just cook what I need and trade the rest for gp.

Nobody said you were. It's the combination of people selling their stuff raw instead of cooking or using them, plus autoers too.

whenever i just want to spend time on these forums, rs forums, or my clan forums i just got to the fishing guild on high detail and fish while i read with checking back every now and then

for me this is like free xp with no work b/c im reading but to others i appear to be autoing

before you accuse ppl of autoing just try a few tricks, throw them a gnome ball, tele other them; post auto programs are simple and this will mess them up

90% of people who train fishing are in it for the money

therefore 90% of fishers do not cook thier catch as raws are more vlauble since cook x

Therefore these high leveled cookers get thier supplies

Fishing guild shows this mjaorly

eg 10 people on docks, 2 going bk and forth to rnage (not fishing)

out the 10 fishing, about 3 will fish cook bank

the other 7 will fish bank fish bank

the 2 cooking and not fishing cook alot then come to docks and trade thier cookeds for raws

5 of the 7 stock piling raws will trade for the cooked

the outcome

3 - training cook & fish (end up with cooked)

2 - stock piling raws to sell

5 - training fishing, but want cooked food so swapping

2 - training cooking with no fishing invovled

3 or more hours per day is actually not that long, especially to autoers. It may be boring, but then again all it is is repetition, and everything in rs is repetition. And also theres like a couple hundred thousand members at least, so I bet at least 3k of them are fishing sharks throughout the course of a day. Of course not all of them are getting constant sharks every day, but still theres probably hundreds of thousands of sharks coming into rs every day, along with nearly every other raw material that is either very good xp or money.
