April 1, 200620 yr note: posting here first;) First off IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m posting this video to tons of Runescape fan forums and clan forums, so sorry if it seems spammish, I wouldnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be doing it if I didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t feel the effort wasnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t worth it IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m not going to explain the video, I think itÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s something you really need to see for yourself, but it revolves around the past 4 years and how this summer will be the busiest in RunescapeÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s history. To let Jagex just make the programming decisions and dictate updates based on what they feel is best for us and not what we know will be enjoyed the most is a disservice to ourself. The problem doesnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t lie in Jagex not caring, but our own lack of mobilization. Contrary to popular belief, they will listen to good ideas; looking at one the most popular update in RS2, Castle Wars. This was a suggestion during beta. Even the current thieving system was a player suggestion that received mass support during beta (however flawed it is, we wanted it). We need to let them know our demands and theyÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll listen, but we canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t do this just by being a single person, we need the entire community to support the best ideas and the ones that will economically help everyone the most; we canÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t just be getting behind obscure ideas that we know wont get anywhere: the changes of the wilderness Alter is one of these, and the video uses that as a central focus from the past to the future. I made a few versions of the video, I prefer you download the largest one because of the many hours I put into it finding the sources on old dvdÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s and editing it together, I made a subtitleÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d version for the hearing impaired, which I hope future video makers do. It only takes another hour, and if you truly care about your audience youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll cator to as many people as you can (I didnÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t make foreign language versions due to my own shortfalls). With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

When the time expires, a window will get in front of it. Click the x on the window [gave me a popup] to remove it and click start download. I dunno about rapid share. Sweet vid, I like how you make it feel all epic. How long did it take you to create it?

April 1, 200620 yr I agree, people need to support one another and show Jagex that we need updates which last not updates which are created for the sake of being updates. The updates they do now seem to be created simply for them to have the ability to say 'we update our game weekly'. April 1, 200620 yr Very well thought through and while I agree with all the issues, I can some what see the alter idea not neccessarily getting the support it deserves. It is very true that things change over time, and I think that the age of pking has suffered and untimely death. The great influx of rs equipment created a domination by high levels and lower levels dared not use the wilderness and never got into pking. Now these lower levels are reaching the high status and as they never experience pking that much many are against pking (as in they do not wish to do it, not agaisnt it exsisting) and instead found value in skills and other aspects of the game. Therefore making pking die. But pking will have its day, with the new found abscene newer players are once more entering pking early on in the deserted wilderness and as they grow a prosper the wilderness's second age will not come around. Of coruse my views are not neccessailry what all will agree upon and are generalisations from what I have personally witnessed. April 1, 200620 yr It would be nice to try and rally the people for support on good ideas but I Think it would be best to get the top 20 clans or so to help run positive ideas for the game. Fan forums are good for discussion but many times they have ppl that just learned about the game or know anything about it. It could change results on a good idea for the game.
April 1, 200620 yr Dunno if anyone else has had their browser go bonkers on them or not... but when using Megaupload... When I go to click the download link... I am delt with a dating ad (cam something other). When I went to close it, my system completely jammed. Using Opera, and I did just recently detect a virus on my system. I'm unsure if they're contibuting factors or what. Just thought I would bring it to everyone and anyones attention. EDIT: Seems to be working fine now. My system is probably just on the fritz. The file is way too large. 30 mins to download the low-res on my computer. Heh, too bad. Theres nothing wrong with the file size, its probably just your connectivity to that server.
