May 3, 200620 yr personally, i dont use a ring of wealth no longer. i got rid of my row about 2 weeks ago saying it was bad luck. since then, well, no d drops but i do believe that not having a row increases the amount of rares u get from tt's. ever since i got rid of my row, i have gotten rares in 5 of the last 6 clue scrolls i have done :) If I am not mistaking in some point Jagex said ring of wealth doesn't e effect clue. not getting a clue and not a clue reward. True, it doesn't affect the drop rate of clues, treasure trails, or the barrows chest. It only affects "drop" rates (and I'm wondering whether or not it affects the champion scrolls :?: ). Well, I find that the ring of wealth simply increases the chance of items dropping and possibly what drops. I think in your case a "nothing drop" would be one of the worst drops, so the ROW should in fact try to bypass those nothing drops. The underlined part though... I'm not quite what to say about that, it's kind of generally just what the ROW is supposed to do :oops: Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. May 4, 200620 yr I did a trip at steel dragons without ring of wealth, and I noticed the difference in drops. That was my worse trip to steels ever... Really? I've burned about 15k Chaos runes there and havn't even goten one drop with my ROW. Also, I've goten 4k kills at the FG's with a ROW and no luck. I've officially abandoned that cursed object, may it burn forever within the deepest pits of Mordor. May 4, 200620 yr i like the ring of wealth a lot,though iv never really gotten nething good except one time had trolls, and was killing rock and stick, after 2 kills g shield.... thats all and i had my row. I think it just depends on ur own luck... Currently training all skills to or above 60. Barrows drops: 87 runs done so far. Torag Platebody on 4th run. Guthan Chainskirt on 35th run. Dharok Helm on 45th run. Torag platelegs on 49th run. Ahrim Robeskirt on 86th run.

Yep, Normally in a trip I get a lot of rune bars, a few axes, the rare large, and lots of other rune items. Without ROW I was getting crap, I believe I only had one rune item (Axe), a clue and that's about it :\
May 4, 200620 yr The problem with these type of enquiries is that the drops are so rare anyway that it would take a massive study to work out the exact benefit of a ROW. I personally always wear mine because I don't think JaGex would release something which would damage your chances of getting a good drop so I don't really have anything to lose (except my ROW if I manage to get myself killed :D ).
May 4, 200620 yr I have had 2 dmed drops without ring. I find it is better to go without it because tho you might get a half key more each trip you are also getting like 400 runes arrows without ring.

May 4, 200620 yr Ring of Weath does not work at all. I got dragon left half with ring of life from black demons 2 days ago on a slayer task. My brother has got d left half and 2 spears so far wtih ring of life. 133rd to 91 runecrafting. 212th to 99 runecrafting - 145th to 99 constructionWhip drops: 38Dark Bow drops: 12Owner of fire cape: 7/30/06

May 5, 200620 yr I wrote to customer service after reading the info from the KB on ring of wealth, I thought it worked like the 2 roulette wheel someone mentioned earlier, anywayz they replied: Wearing the Ring of Wealth will increase your chances of getting a better drop from a monster. Note that the Ring of Wealth only effects rewards from monster drops, so things like treasure trail rewards and Barrows rewards that aren't monster drops won't be affected. ---------------------------------------------------------- Their reply doesn't help me at all -.- I am still confused on how exactly the ring works... but anyways, I prefer the berserker ring nowadays

May 5, 200620 yr i never use my wealth because if im wearing only junk but if i don't wera i already got 2 d legs 1 left half 1 d med and 1 D2H So i don 't use my wealth i hate it because i spend like 15k chaos on steels (with wealth) and no drop :(
May 5, 200620 yr i acutally have better drops wearing ring of wealth like i found a d left half training at shadows with one only killed bout 300 be 4 i killed 1k got nothing i have gotten 4 obby shields 3 capes 2 mauls from wearing it i belive it does help

Well the ring of stone has no known use, besides morphing you into rocks, which is a neat trick but is done much cheaper with a ring of Egg. Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)
