Yea, it's really hard to say what I'd do. On the one hand, I could go and search for phats, masks, santas, major weapons and armor. Trade it to a trusted friend, let the account get banned and just start anew, with enough supplies to get my status back, plus more! (Not sure it'd work, I thought Jagex could track trades?????).

 

 

 

On the other, I wouldn't want to spend all that time getting things back and risking a ban. I do like my account and how I've made him. Plus all my quests are done besides one, so that would be a lengthly process.

 

 

 

In the end, if I could trade the items I get to a new account, I'd do it. Flat out. I know that's SO wrong, but I would love having a Blue phat on a lvl 3. :lol:

If it had happened to me I would have cried since I am a lvl 3 skiller and wouldn't be able to hit anything anyway :(

 

 

 

If I were in Durial's shoes with ice barrage at my finger tips I'd probably scare a few ppl by hitting them a few times and knocking down their hp, but I'd feel way too guilty killing an innocent bystander.

EDIT: I would stand in the middle of world 2 and start doing ice barriages, then when a mod says something to me, I would say oops, I accidently used the spell and just so happened to have an attack option...

Honestly? Same thing Duriel wouldve done, maybe be a little more discreet about it, like not kill people in the middle of Falador. Go to astranged training places where only 1 or 2 people are at the same time, and then ice the hell out of them :twisted:

Duriel is not a hero, he's a punk, and anyone else that took advantage of this bug are nothing but punks. I say, good ridence to bad rubbish. He got what he deserved! Just one glance at his interview proves that this was premeditated and planned not something random. Wonder how many of you that are saying he is a hero, would be whinning if it were you that had lost valuables to his carnage? This guy ruined rs for many people. Months of hard work gone in an instant. These people were not in the wildy, they were minding their own business tryin to build up skills only to have months of hard work ripped from them only for pure enjoyment of an immature punk. I don't know why some of you just can't play the game within the rules. For those that cheat and scam, your just to lame to get it the right way so you try to take from those that have. Take note of this name, if you see me in rs and cheat or scam, you will be reported and I will scream in chat what you are doing so that others will not fall for your lame actions!

I'd forget what the word "rules" mean... cause honestly, I've always wondered how nice it would be to PK those level 100+ with p hats in world 65 edge... pick up 10 p hats in 5 minutes lol. Then go on a little killing spree in camelot, ardougne, falador, varrock... then make a desperate appeal on my account :)

Report it to Jagex and hope to get a nice reward! (Else I would be pissed if I don't get the reward :()

No, most people with Partyhats on are ussualy high levels.

I'd probably, secretly, leave and go to another town and kill 1 person wearing a phat and no one would know. It's like murder, but you can get away with it. It'd be only 1 person instead of 134234 people, I'd probably kill noobs who were scamming too.

I would realise that I could attack someone and start seeing if I can really attack, I'd try it out on an unsuspecting passer by. I would attack him and say sorry, I probably wouldn't report it, I would just let the bug go when I log out.
