Phil
U.S could have been up 2 to 1 if that one guy (who didn't even have the ball at the time) wasn't off sides. US had alot of fouls; Italy had alot of offsides called on them. The ref's calls were questionable at times. The USA guy was directly in front of the keeper so was in play and interfering with play and offside. Also the ref was alright actually. The 3 sendings off were deserved. I think De Rossi needs a head check. To do that, in a world cup  He should be sent home on 2 accounts: 1) Extreme foul play. 2) Idiocy. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Oy_the_Great
Bah. Just send all of those damn Italians home. The only things they do is knock players off the field, shout behind the ref's back and play friggin' catennaccio all the time. If there's one nation I'd like to see going under, it's Italy. Although, my girlfriend would watch a whole lot less football, and thus so would I O:) Bill Hicks[/url]":dhj2kan9]Since the one thing we can say about fundamental matter is, that it is vibrating. Leonardo almost destroyed the nose of that american, today it was pretty much accidental. Also, as a side note, I'd like to state my opinion on the first red to the US player: if an italy player hadn't received a red before, the american wouldn't have received his for that fault. In a normal game he'd receive a yellow, but referees always try to balance things. ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

And yes I would agree the US player would've normally recieved a yellow, but that doesn't mean it wasn't worth a red card. Those types of challenges are called leg/ankle breakers and can end careers. Necromagus
USA made 24 fouls in the match, against 13 from Italy. It seemed like a pretty violent match overall though... Fadfdfd
That Italy USA game today... Were those refs on speed before the game or something? I dunno but that refs arm must be tired from reaching into his pocket to pull out red/yellow cards. lol

How2PK
Heh, Ghana was amazing, they outclassed the Czechs. Too bad their not the most intelligent type of players, otherwise it would've been atleast 4-0. America played pretty good as well. Too bad they also lacked the insight to take advantage of their extra player on the field and made very stupid fauls so in the end they got back with 9 to 10. Still good job on a tie against Italy. Can't wait to see USA vs. Ghana and Italy vs. Czechs Oh, the first American red card was just as dirty, if not dirtier, than Di Rossi's elbow. And a good call of the ref. He shouldn't have got away with yellow. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!

Ronaldo was way better then Adriano. I guess he isnt really fit for 90min. Ronaldinho and Kaka got more to show aswell WTP??? How the hell the do you get Ronaldo playing better than Adriano in that game? Ronaldo's going down... This will be his last half decent world cup I think, unless he's just going through a bad phase... Ronaldinho really didn't have much chance to show his skill, except a few stepovers and sweet passes... Kaka played very well too. Really can't wait for Brazil's next game... BRAZIL ALL THE WAY!
