Bmw
Heh, Ghana scores just over 1 minute into the game!! Who would have guessed! They are playing some very tough football. Tough play offensively, defensively, and physically. Wonderful. :P :P
Striker6
Yeh cmon Ghana, the first African team heading for a win perhaps?
Bmw
Yes, indeed. 3 minutes to go, Ghana is up 2 - 0! They just scored another on a 3 vs 1 breakaway, but it was called offside. They also just had another 1 vs 0 breakaway, but was called offside. Although their defence was weak, Ghana played simply amazing today, Czechs are all on the brink of tears. Wow....I love it. Congratz Ghana on their first win!!!! :D Edit: Extra time now, Czechs get a free kick. Ghana's goaltender makes not one, but TWO incredible saves. What a way to end the game. Talk about a tight group indeed, USA, Italy, Czech, Ghana. Wow.!
Bubsa
Czech Republic are past it now. Don't be suprised if Ghana turn them over in the group. It was a brilliant game, however now who do you think is gonna get through from Group E? Arcticrunite
Bubsa...i love you...have my babies, they can be all psychic'y like you :o On the better note, Ghana was the better team, HOWEVER, that being said, i think there were wayyy too many yellows in that match, im not even sure if that red card was deserved, i didnt see that much of a foul, but i could be wrong with the technicality of a foul.
Bubsa
Yeah, technically through on goal + last man = automatic red. not exactly malicious, as you say, but warranted. I'd fancy Ghana to get through, but like Arctic said, because of the mass amount of yellows, Ghana are consequently missing a lot of their players for the U.S. match. It'll be interesting to see whether the depth of their squad can cut it. Although, it does mean we're likely to see Pimpong starting :D This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Scars
Ah that was a fun game.Ghana really should have scored more.Who knows tomorrow it might even come down to just goal difference. If it hadn't been for Petr Cech it would have been way more. Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig!
apinagez
Only if Ivory Coast weren't in such a killer group, we'd much likely have 2 african teams on the eighth(sp?) finals. That while Brazil, England and other traditional teams aren't going well. ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

Goldwolflord
Same. ^ Anyone watching/watched the USA - Italy game? That Red card looked pretty damn paniful. Elbowned pl0x. Elbow -> Face -> Blood -> Red card -> Elbowned. 5 Minutes left and it's still 1 - 1. =\ Really surprised at how crappy Italy have been... Not taken their chances to score very well. They just played a corner straight into the first defender... =| Final result: Brazil Argentina England/Germany Germany/England Czech Republic? Spain? Italy? EDIT: What does FTW mean? I been seeing it around alot? W.T.F is that?!?!?!?!?!? Argentina. I watched the US - Italy game earlier. U.S could have been up 2 to 1 if that one guy (who didn't even have the ball at the time) wasn't off sides. US had alot of fouls; Italy had alot of offsides called on them. The ref's calls were questionable at times.
