Mr big headed figther in dragon armor...

No, his head isn't gigantic but it looks bigger in proportion of the body XD or atleast to my eyes...

Anyways. Here he is...

I didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t bother with the hair so I made him bald and slapped on a scar to make up for the laziness lol But hey, bald people are cool too!

But anyways, the head is seemingly big because I only measured him at around 6 and a half heads unlike an 8 for most heroic figures. Though, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know for sure if the average is 6 or 7 so I went in between. XD

Anyhow, I'd appreciate any advices or CCs that you have to give.

Thanks.

P.S. Night-howls is me from RSC :-$

Awsome work. Coloring, shading, and texturing all work together perfectly. Proportions may be slighlty off, but still looks great.
stop stealing my words! great job
My words too.

@ remoteman : I think the axe handle looks long or short enough to be a one-handed battle axe but :-k

welcome back havn't seen you in a while

@ Bloodredsword : Thanks ^.^ It's good to be back. \'

1. his left ear looks a little bit lower and bigger than the right ear.

2. his right [bleep]e looks too small.

@ TheDark : Haha, good eyes...I may have accidently erased too much of the right ear off :-w And the right [bleep]e is on a slant and further from the viewer so that is why I made it smaller than the left one :-k

How did you make this?

@ Goldwolflord : I used photoshop CS2 to paint it (though, there's really little difference if it's CS or not).

@ Everyone : Thank you for your comments and advices all :!:

P.S. He use to have hair...but a dragon blew it off...

Brilliant! I love it. =D>

It needs more detail, though. Specifically, more "wear and tear" if you know what I mean. Right now the fabrics, metals, and other materials are all too clean. They'd look a bit bashed up and dirtified if he is some sort of warrior.

Also, you may want to change the axe a bit (different colours/values, or maybe a light outline) to separate it from the armour. You could add realistic "wear and tear" details to the blade (chips, dirt, blood) that would probably help bring it out quite a bit. :)

Great work though. :) I'd love to see some sketches or steps.. I'm trying to learn the human figure as well, just not finding it very easy...

The axe seems mishaped on both sides, and his foremost shoulder plate lacks definition. Other than that, its really appealing to me.

Tell me- how exactly does one digi paint like that? I dont have ps, just Paint Shop Pro 8, will that let me digi paint? Are there any tutorials for making digi paint?

I'm not talking- how do I make people, or how do I make-object-, I want to know how I am phyiscaly able to make paintings.

I'm fairly possitive PSP8 will let you.

Realy digipaint is just using the paintbrush to paint with. Try and use varrying opacities, and a lot of layers.

I can't realy tell you too much (i'm not a painter), but it is very possible yes :).

Great work lazy_cat.

I think his head looks big because he's bald.

Or I'm totally wrong and it's just proportions, but I kind of like it like how it is. It's not totally cliched and it gives him more personality.

I hope you do more!
