I'm not fond of people that train there.... All they do is get high stats by doing nothing.

It's a real lazy-mans way to train :-w

and some ppl put a coin between the keyboard... :-X

i put a wooden plane i made at school on my keyboard when i'm short afk, like having a pee or something and i'm in wrld 2 and don't wanna log. :-w

I was once at the airport with my friends in California, had to go "potty" really bad, and just pissed my pants in the middle of the terminal. (All the cool kids piss in their pants, right?)

Just chat with friends while training there if you're afraid of getting banned. Or wear your rune or any other armour that doesn't degrade, then when you're low on health switch to guthans.

People only really train there if they're AFKing, or watching a film or something. It's slooooowww training though, and those evil chickens... #-o

For the people who dnt know, afking isn't like when your watching tv and playing runescape at the same time and not paying much attention, but you are there doing stuff with your character. It's only when you put something on the spacebar/arrow-key to circumnavigate the log out system that it is called afking. That is against the rules and Jagex does catch people that do it. I had a lvl 108 friend banned for it.

My question is how they're going to enforce this rule... the only way to confirm you're afking is if you're able to talk and a mod asks you a question. Otherwise, if your public chat is off merely because of noobs, there's no way to tell if you're really AFKing, or are you actually at your keyboard...

tbh if u think they are autoing, then go there and rob their bandits and if the 1)don't move 2)dont' say hey stop and 3) log after a while report em and get em banned simple as but also i wouldn't wanna try that it's a bit risky aint it....

It's for lazy players anyway. :shame: Maybe Jagex should make some nice update at bandits surprising afkers there all the way to Lumby/Fally. :-$

Wow, I thought most people weren't literally AFK there. I thought most people like me were just browsing the forums and Bones to Peaching or Guthaning ocasionally. :?

But if you're literally AFKing there, like going away from the computer for a long time, taking a nap or whatever, I think you deserve to get banned. It's like macroing IMO. :shame:

AFKing at the bandits just means your not paying all your attention to the screen. You can't take a nap cause you have to heal every so often. It just means you dont have to click all the time to get exp. Check back every 30 seconds and heal when you need too.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

I don't understand why people afk train in the first place. What's the point in playing if your not gonna be at your computer. It's just taking away the point in playing. Besides you never know what could happen and for people with me who'd rather not splash out on another set of Guthans we don't want to take the risk.

would someone please tell me what rule this is breaking (if it is breaking any)

otherwise jagex has no reason to ban me :notalk:

Rule 7, surprisingly.

In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothes

I bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal dose

I offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn

"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"

Honestly Jagex Cant Stand the fact that people find the "Easy" way to Train or Find Glitches and ETC. on how to get High exp at a fast rate, i mean come on they made it for ppl to take there time and work hard so i dont think Free-loading will make em happy.

Training at bandits is stupid. Silly lazy people who don't even click to gain levels deserve to be banned.

Ok so when you fletch do you do them all at once of click each one individually?

Thought not. Theres a cook all, fletch X which allow you to AFK. So stop taking the moral highground and look at the other skills that Jagex allow you to not give your full concentration at. If it was illegal tey would have been removed wouldn't they?
