Robbery and Murder

Anyways, I have a buddy. We don't hang out too much. Back in the day we used to play video games all day and all of that good stuff. We kind of seperated when I stayed my place and he got involved with drugs, and all of that mumbo jumbo. I couldn't really tell how far he got into it. I only talked to him casually, in school, hung out every once and a while.

Well, the other day I was looking outside. I saw this officer in his car, with binoculars scoping out something a few houses a way. At the time, I didn't care much for it.

Today, the officer was talking to my next-door neighbor. My next-door neighbor told me that the officer said that my friend, is wanted for armed robbery and murder.

He's a three-hundred pound, obese, black guy.. He lives two houses down. Heh, I thought he was incapable of something like that. It's hard to believe.. you know? We used to be such good buddies.

Humans can do such aweful things, that they will regret for the rest of their lives under the least bit of pressure. It's too bad he strayed off into all of that lame drug [cabbage].

Oh well..

btw, you might want to remove the black guy part to avoid flaming.

Nah, he was just describing him. He also called him obese - why not tell him to edit that out too? If someone takes offense to him describing his friend then its their problem, not the author's.

[/offtopic]. (just wanted to clear that up).

Don't be stupid. He was describing his friend. There's nothing remotely offensive about saying he is black. Someone could interpret it as him saying his friend is black so he is humble but that's very debateable and not true.

Sorry to hear about your black friend (omgz, i said black). Maybe prison will reform him. He obviously hasn't found jesus yet

On topic:

That must be so weird for you. One moment you were hanging out with him and such, then all of the sudden he's a supposed robber/murderer. Creepy. I also had a friend who I used to hang out with a lot but he got involved with a crowd that was going down the wrong path, and I don't know if he got involved with that stuff, but he haven't really talked since.

Off topic:

Not to be so mean, but that was an extremely dumb comment.

That sounds like your saying anyone who hasn't found Jesus yet is bad. I don't believe in Jesus or God but I don't go round killing people and taking drugs.

Why would that make any difference? Stop with the religion bs. You dont know anything about his friends beliefs or what, if any, religion he follows. Its incredibly rude to say such a thing.

Back on topic, its a shame to see such a friend turn to such things. If he did do what they say he did then I hope the police do catch him. You might know him but hes certainly not the friend you used to know. :(

It's a shame relationships end up ruined because of drugs or other addictive/hurtful behaviors. :?

I wouldn't say it was just because of that, but a combination of things.

Weird, though. Someone you know/knew ending up like that.

Reminds me a bit of some guy I used to be mates with at school.

Nothing overly wrong with him during that time. He moved to another "state" (northern territory) and I never heard from him again.

Then a few years ago I was just surfing the net and found a disturbing new article. My "mate" had raped and murdered a 16 year old girl.

No it doesn't....

NOTHING can justify being a rapist, or even being a murderer for that matter.
