d3nic Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 Hello Tip.Iters! I've now come to the decision that I'm now properly qutting RuneScape. It's not what it used to be, now it's full of scammers/hackers/abusive people, but I wont go into mega detail about that. The community on RuneScape has gone really downhill, and I think it's just getting worse. So, I think I'm at a right stage to quit, before I get even more addicted to it! I will be playing another game - World Of Warcraft. But I wont be playing it as much as I played RuneScape. Tip.It has been a very helpful place for me. Without Tip.It, RuneScape would have been very very hard for me lol! :P I wont make a list of people who I'd like to thank, because I'd be here all day! :) This site and forum is great, these majority of you are decent very helpful people. I've met lots of people from these forums, and I've become very good friends with them. Tip.It will hold a lot of RuneScape memories. I'll be qutting with about 15 - 18 Mil, I'll probably just sell everything and do some kind of drop party! Thanks for reading. See you RuneScape. But I wont be playing it as much as I played RuneScape. LIES! I've been playing Runescape for years now and I genearlly only play at MOST a couple hours every few days. I downloaded the WoW free Trial and I was on it for most of the days! World of Warcraft is extremely addicting, there is just no other game like it! I bet that you'll be playing WoW way more often than you did RS. If I had the money and the free time, I think I'd be playing WoW instead of Runescape, but I can't imagine spending at least $12 a month to play the game! Instead I stick to members during the summer but I can still play the game during school when I'm not paying for it. Guild Wars would also be a good option for it, but I'm so enthralled by WoW that I've decided it's WoW or nothing for a Big time MMORPG. Thus I stick with Runescape. But good luck, godspeed, and try to have fun, remember that Teaming and joining groups make the game all the better (WoW advice). Also don't go Horde! They're EVIL! Alliance FTW! needa Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 i quit once.... gave away and dropped everything i had, including a yellow phat. totalling around 150 mil. kept 28k lobs and 3k sharks. ended up giving the lobs away also. 9 months later.. i came back with only 3k shark some teleport runes and one drag ammy. it was miserable. i guess what im trying to say is... dont give everything away like i did... thinking it will keep you from coming back. becasue that isnt neccesarily the case. In my statement I was trying to get across that every good person that leaves, a person just as good joins the game, and granted that runescape is constantly growing more and more good people will have joined. I am also a strong disbeliever that the Runescape community is getting worse. I think that people are just over glorifying the "good ol'days" because it was so long ago [edited]that people have forgotten what it was like[/editing], and the game is somehow just as I remember it in '01... but who knows... it was so long ago.
