I was thinking, does anyone here have any Superstitions or habits when it comes to Runescape?

 

 

 

I for one have had a few from time to time. For instance I went through a phase where every door and gate I would go through I would have to close on the other side.

 

 

 

Or I would drop every lobby I burnt rather than noting them and dropping them later. :lol:

 

 

 

So I was wondering do you guys have any certain habits or even superstitions which you have when it comes to Runescape? It could be anything from sticking to one world and not leaving it for any reason, or to doing somthing which is out of place and not needed. Or even doing one thing which was not needed, because you might think a negative reaction would eventuate if you didn't do it. :? :lol:

always killing the respawn at every door i go thorugh at barrows. So instead of running through to the monsters I like to kill, I kill the everything that spawns at the doors when you open them. It's my superstition that it helps rewards (no evidence for that)

I have a habbit of right-clicking everything I see, sometimes I'll just right click the ground to make sure I'm in the RS window. #-o

i wear my d long everywhere i go to kill randoms it helps me live........it was the first d weapon i had and i will never lose it lol! i think it hits more then other ones too lol

Oh yeah that reminds me of another thing/superstition I have, I have not currently EVER had a Dragon Long, and I'm 91 Combat 1450+ total. Lol, I guess the main reason I never had one was because I only did Lost City so I could start Hero's, and then used the Drag Battleaxe and Mace... \

Always run back to tell someone why I died after I get pked :P

 

like yesterday when I lost full ahrims and dharoks :( he just got a lucky 24 24 spec so I told him I would've won if it weren't for his lucky spec :P

yes i like to right click everything everywhere just so i know my surroundings and of course to check in on rs window its not unhighlighted, im shore there is more i just dont realise them.

I say "Hi" to almost everyone who walks past. I also right click on stuff like bones, every time they drop. Silly stuff really but you can't help it.

I always keep my inventory in Barrows full when I open the chest, I feel that seeing the item on the floor is better than it in your inv :P

Off topic: something weird just happened lol. I logged on to runescape and there was dis lvl 22 on me list that i didnt know standing near me. after a bit of thinking its the person i bought my beret of 2 days ago, i must have forgot to take em off. Now they want it bak lol

When im cooking or training something where i dont need to click i always right click on people i never just hover my mouse over them.

 

I examine a lot of things.

Yep I do that too. I sometimes find myself trying to examine other players... :roll:

When I'm at barrows, I ALWAYS have to get a 12 kill count, can't be more or less. I'll go through the tunnel till I find my door and then calculate my count so that when I'm in the chest room, I'll end up with 12. Don't know why I chose 12 as the number but if something happens and I don't get it, it bothers me for a good bit. :anxious:

 

 

 

When doing clue scrolls, each time I click on a casket or talk to someone when it's about to be done, I look away from the screen. Like not looking is going to make the reward better.

 

 

 

I used to play on only one world. If it wasn't my "best choice for member server" on the world select screen, I'd refresh or come back until it was.

 

 

 

I'm sure I have other strange quirks but that's what comes to mind right now.

I examine almost everything I see, dunno, but I like almost all of them (besides the "Look it's a guinea pig - no, hang on, its a cave!" :S)

I like examening everything, and right clicking to make sure i dont auto-log

Yeah, I right click everything, and i HAVE to bury every bone that i see - above normal bones. I'm training slayer at fire giants at the moment, and everyone's laughing at me 'cause i'm burying all of their bones.

After a slayer task I yell, "And one more for the road!" and kill one extra monster. Got a White Mystic top like this once :)

Me too! I do the exact same thing. I get a kill count of 10 going into the chest room (thats assuming i haven't killed the brother yet) and then kill the monster that respawns and then the final brother.

I don't screenie when i get 99 stats. It is bad luck..

i never leave world 71 unless i really have to, i bury every bone i see and will always fight randoms - even on 10hp

i always take a chisel when i have a task that im going to safespot, so i can cut and drop the lower gems and it isnt wasted exp

I do exactly the same thing :D In a quest cut-scene i'm constantly examining things so that when the scene ends i can see what everything is described as......

 

 

 

I've been at Dust Devils for a few weeks and if i accidently pick up their bones i always drop them instead of just burying them, i think it's my subconsious helping me avoid getting randoms. :)
