Well, I might be switching rooms with my sister and I have the choice to paint it. Only problem is, I don't know what color. Any idea's?

 

 

 

PS: I like darker colors.

Dark green actualy looks quite nice

Take a picture of the room and bring it into the place where you're buying paint. They should be able to help you pick a good color to go with the rest of the stuff in the room.

Isn't it better to paint a room with lighter colours?

That's how I painted mine (black on bottom, white on top-cause I didn't want to have to paint the ceiling black -).

 

 

 

I say go with a cool color. Blues, darker greens, violets. They tend to have a calming effect so you won't mind being in your room where as people don't tend to like being around warm colors (reds, yellows, light greens) as much.. Just a little something I learned in art fundamentals last year and thought you might like to know that since you have to live with your choice of colors..

Dark pink or dark yellow. Jk. I'd pick dark blue, preferably.

go with a Plum Purple, and then decorate it gothic/medivelly.

I painted bricks on my wall to look like a castle. It requires alot of taping and layers of paint, but if you have the time and the patience get creative, just don't be tacky!

White. Stark, sterile white. Replace all your lights with flourescents.

I say write as many coloures you can on peaces of paper, then put them in a hat or something that will hold them, then pick two at random and mix those colours together, my friend did that and his room looks really awsome!

I have light green and cream. With cream curtains and a white door. I hate it >.<

 

 

 

What my sister did was have hers a light/oceany blue, but on her built-in cupboard she painted a boating scene on it. Looked awesome, but she was really into painting.

....eh maybe black wall, with white stripes going around the room...eh,nevermind thats corny...dark green.

Lol when I was six, me and my dad painted my room...

 

 

 

I had it like, completely white, then on one wall I had 10-inch blue stripes with 10inch of white between each, then same on the opposite wall, and on the other two there was white and pink, same format. Looked brilliant...still does actually...

 

 

 

 

 

Well, I would say dark blue or dark green, but it's really your choice...someone else suggested this but dark blue + light blue is always nice...

Meh, my room is white. Take a picture of at least one wall in your room with a digital camera. Open up the file with Paint. Try out different colors until you find some you like.

I would like dark green.....and I still dont know why....

 

 

 

But having a room with the dark green will look bad....so have 3 walls dark green and the wall with the window a lighter green....
