I got some pathetic pyrefiends to kill....what happened to more harder tasks? Now kalphites would be hard anyway if you are doing kalphite soldiers, but pyrefiends? I want much harder monsters to kill as Jagex said. A lot of greater/black demons or some nechryaels for rune boots would have been good. :( No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug. Nah, i think pyrefiends are a decent task to get, easy yet they still give a good amount of exp. In other words, not worth the trip to buthorpe. Raven6666 Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 Sure, they are easy, but the thing is, that the amount is hard - as in extremely boring, i've been assigned monsters lvl 90+ for my tasks, most of them were 120+. yet my slayer skill and combat skill surely are lower than yours, so why was i assigned Hellhounds, Iron Drags and Black Drags to a crazy amount of Greater Demons? I got 137 cockatrices task, it wasn't bad, i did it in 20 mins and got 4k slayer xp (+ half key and clue) Low lvl monsters mean those annoying desert lizards, 188 cave crawlers etc that i used to get ALOT Why does shilo master give gargoyles and abyssal demons but no nechryaels? 6221st to 85 Slayer. But you have to consider that slayer isn't all perfect. You don't have an option to get the perfect, best tasks all the time. Compare it to .. let us say.. an enjoyable skill like fishing. Fishing is great. So much fun on the docks catching all the handy fish. The bad thing is, you have to walk from time to time. Every skill has his litle downsides. Drop pretty good stuff (well atleast 10k alch cash every task :uhh: ) and they do give good xp. I keep going to Lost City, because I love a Dagganoth task. Credits to Skully Sc for the signature.
