October 6, 200619 yr pish tush. i doubt the capes will be for f2p. jagex feels like being mean, and so they always give the good stuff to the members. you guys can jeer at me if its for f2p though. another loss for f2p :wall: Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
October 6, 200619 yr I'm thinking p2p only because it forces some f2pers to get members, which = more money for Jagex. It would simply be a strategic business decision. If they didn't care about money....they'd make it f2p. O:)

October 8, 200619 yr although this is certainly folly, I'm being optimistic today and saying they will make them for all players with the requited level. my reason is there aren't that many players it will afftect and many of them are not members. If the capes are members, it's like saying, yeah, u f2p'ers have done well to get 99 in this skill in harder conditions, but, you know, these others guys pay us so we won't bother to give you any recognition for your effort. good point.
October 8, 200619 yr Considering that the capes are supposedly humored to be put into your POH's, I dont think they will be F2P. Just another ploy to get high level F2P's to get membership.

October 8, 200619 yr I think they will be f2p and you can get 99 in a skill in f2p also, it also a bigger achievement in f2p as it is harder to train Dragon Drops: 2 x Dragon Legs, Dragon Spear

I think making them p2p only now would be a bad move. F2p people who worked hard for a 99 would get quite mad. Actually my question is: Why shouldn't they be f2p?
October 8, 200619 yr I think it would be, because f2p can reach a 99 skill as well, there is no limit to skills on f2p just like p2p, you can maximize it.

October 9, 200619 yr I dont see why not. In most cases a 99 f2p skill is even more of an achievement than a 99 p2p skill, *cough*fletching*cough*.
October 9, 200619 yr They will be f2p, becouse the update didnt say "members who achieve a 99 stat" it said players. Jagex generally says members in the wording if its members only.
