New Cape stats?

I would expect some of these capes to have better stats than the lava cape, since it takes a lot longer to get 99 in a skill then 2 hours at fight caves. The bonuses will most likely be something like burning less, mining ores faster, maybe smithing some new armours/weapons even (probably not). Who knows :P

Also takes a month or 2 to get stats for Fire cape.

 

 

 

But yeah, it says boost not bonus. And the question how hitpoints, runecrafting, fletching, herblore, construction, firemaking, slayer, smithing, and crafting will be boosted is up to Jagex... I wanna see a good suggestion for this ::'

Slayer-maybe a Black Mask-type effect?

 

Fletching/Firemakin/Crafting/Construction-make stuff faster?

 

Smithing-burn iron less?

Well, for woodcutting, fishing and mining <- Make things faster

 

Attack, str, def, range, magic <- Better bonuses than fire cape (will they even make cbt capes?)

 

prayer <- A good prayer bonus

 

Thieving, agility, farming <- Less failing, larger yields for farming

I can understand it for something like woodcutting, fishing, or mining, but I don't understand how it would apply to skills like herblore, slayer, or smithing.

i thought of is exact same thing while taking a shower tonigher (yeah wierd eh :lol: ) anyway here goes.....

 

 

 

Attack- +7 all defensive catagories- + 12 attack

 

Strength- +7 all defensive catagories- + 12 strength

 

Defense- + 15 all defensive catagories- ~NO BONUS FOR OFFENSE~

 

Range- + 12 range attack and defense bonus =D>

 

Prayer- + 10 Prayer

 

Mage + 12 mage attack and defense bonus

 

Runecrafting- not exactly sure- Holds as many rune ess in cape a big pouch maybe?

 

Construction- Reduces the cost of making planks by 100 gp per board

 

Hitpoints- Heals your hp at the same rate as the prayer "rapid heal"

 

Agility- Makes your character have a 25% less chance of failing an obstacle

 

Herblore- Cuases your character to have a "Make x" option when mixing potions

 

Thieving- Makes your character have a 25% less chance of getting cought

 

Crafting-

 

Fletching- when wielded gives a left click option on logs to fletch; no knife needed

 

Slayer- Same as black mask- +15% attack and strength bonus on slayer asingments- no special though

 

Mining-

 

Smithing- Same as gold gauntlets + ring of forging

 

Fishing- Increases chance of catching a fish by 15%

 

Cooking-

 

Firemaking- Causes all logs lit be burn a certain color that you choose (like firelighters)

 

Woodcutting- 15% more chance of getting a log

 

Farming- 15% more chance of yielding a succesful crop

ok i have read over other peoples ideas..... why would they make something that gives you the ability to do things like not burn food etc, your already 99 cooking you burn bearly anything ::'

Well, I'm thinking that an actual Stat Boost, like 100/99 mining or something like that, would be rather pointless.... but just like little bonuses (like the ones in the post above) would be much better :D I can't wait for them to come out :) I wanna see what they do :P

You get the right to wear one, and choose what type? Sounds to me like you are going to have to splash out some serious cash for a trimmed cape!

- nah i think that they will be free not sure where they will be atained from though :-k :-s well time for bed i guess ill think about the cape uses at school tommarow :lol: :) :D

If you also obtained fire cape, you could add like a lava trim to the cape, that'd be cool :). You'd be able to show off your level 99 stat aswell as the fact that you succeded in obtaining a fire cape.

for all those stats...add 5 bonus lvls. and its also for looks

They will just probably increase the exp you get, like for example, 150 fishing exp for a shark, or 11 exp for runecrafting a law.

Lamest attempt at a lure ever.
No, Ive seen "selling easter egg 5m must be level 78 77 or 76 and meet at varrock bar unarmed.

i don't see the point get boosts in a skill u already 99 :S (except combat ones ofcurse). I mean after I have lvl 99 I will be most likely won't train it unless I need to do something (like cook sharks/fletch for money or such) . yes I know people want to be #1 and have 200mil exp but still.

 

I just happy they going to release capes so I can show off my 99 stats (only 2 skill and the easiest to get - fletching and cooking).

Attack/Strength/Defence- Just bonuses...

 

Magic- Ability to hit higher? And also more often...With bonuses?

 

Range- Same as mage...

 

Prayer- Slow down drain rate?

 

Mining- Quicker mining

 

Woodcutting- Quicker cutting

 

Smithing- Kind of a portable blast furnace? Also 100% for iron?

 

Fishing- Quicker fishing

 

Cooking- Like gauntlets, burn less, or at lower levels.

 

Runecrafting- Ability to use the crumbled ruins to make runes? IDK, maybe also able to make more runes per ess.

 

Crafting- Cheaper hides to leather? Maybe also less thread used, and higher chance of getting gems.

 

Firemaking- Fires last longer...

 

Fletching- Quicker flax spinning, I don't know...

 

Agility- Less chance of failing, maybe also lighter

 

Herblore- No water required?

 

Construction- Like crystal saw...

 

Farming- Quicker growing? Also less chance of crops dying, also better harvest?

 

Thieving- Less chance of failing, better chance of getting better items

 

Slayer- Better chance of getting good task? All tools required in one? I don't know...
