Fire_God
I think you should go to a non members world and make things for low levels (iron/steel armor). Help them out. I do that sometimes and I always feel good later. Also, you can meet some very nice people. Trying is just the first step in failure.
Azurechaos
Dag Kings. If you haven't gotten into them, you should try. ghostman
I get bored a lot, especially as f2p. When I get bored of something, I take a break, go on forums, and go do something else. Currently P2P. I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. elucin8er
I still find it amusing when these kinds of topics are posted, it seems you have made playing rs become a habit, this is your first major mistake. The addicts are ones who turn on their computer, open up rs page, log on, and realise they don't really want to do anything. These are the people who use the terms "quit" "break" "leaving and having drop party." And quite frankly, it shouldn't be that way. You don't wake up, turn on ur xbox, start up halo and realise you don't want to play. You wake up, realise you WANT to play it, and then begin playing. This should be exactly the same with Runescape, only open your browser if you feel like playing. That way, the game will actually become much more like a game. Hope that helps. Don't use the word "quit" It's stupid. Proper Daily blogging including Starcraft 2! Includes goal for 80+ all stats

stan18
during the weekdays, i log on just to farm. nothing else. school keeps me busy, and during the weekends is when i get some time to do stuff, which i usually look foward to during the weekdays. DKing with dht, for example, is fun :)
1withdragons
You present me with a unique problem... My solution: obscure minigames, such as pyramid plunder, rogues den (try for a full set of rogue), or try completing every quest in the game without a quest guide. Personally, I live for new updates. Don't quit, that post count shouldn't be abandoned... 7 months ago, shoulen m0nk lured me for everything. If you know anything about him, pm me.lol that was a good story but his eyesight must be poor... it's a well known fact that mods only drop garages on players.

Rebdragon
It took me a few hours, but I just realized that we have been hit by a huge TQSS outbreak... [TQSS] The disease was dying out, but good ol' Tro sent another wave of it throughout the Tip.it community with his (12th?) "I'm quitting" thread -.- . elucin8er
Why do people feel they need to find reasons to keep playing this game? Some of you have severe addictions. aj926
Well I'd hate for you to leave if you do :( [eventually sometime you will, but like now would suck] You should try and go... :-k Play WoW!!! Oh.. that wouldn't make Runescape better.. but it sure is a damn good game. Thinking about it. The thing is, I don't have admin on ym computer, which would make it very hard to play WoW. but If I could, i'd drop rs in an instant. wow, that isn't great... giving up runescape for myspace... way to drop a rung in the ladder of society. god dam myspace Thanks for your intelligent post. Seeing as how I've met and had sex with 2 girls from it, I'm glad you don't have that because then it might've been you. Oh wait, nevermind. Dag Kings. If you haven't gotten into them, you should try. Other fun things are slaying, CW, and staking. Hope you find a spark in these. Thank you so much. this is exactly the kind of responce I was looking for, not (as I said in my post) "Quit." Why do people feel they need to find reasons to keep playing this game? Some of you have severe addictions. I was looking to find different ways of spending my time on rs. I've gone weeks and months without playing, i just ddn't want to do that this time. Sad to see you go although I have no idea who you are... :( Thanks but no thanks. I'm tired of people using these threads for post count +s. You didn't even read it. ----------------------------- To be quite clear: I'm not whining, looking for attention, being a [bleep]. I want suggestions on ways to improve my runescape life, and nothing else. I don't want posts saying "Quit for a few months". OK fine, i get that. I'm not a fat dude who sits at his computer and eats hot pockets all day surfing the internet and slaying dragons. I'm just trying tp put a little more fun back into the great game I knew as runescape. Quit with the dumb posts telling me to quit the entire game, I respect the people who said I should take a break from it,a nd i'm considering it as a top choice in putting fun back in. I do NOT respect the people who tell me to outright quit or tell me I have a severe addiction to the game. You know nothing about me or my lifestyle. Why I lay RS is completely up to me, and peer pressure shouldn't be on the internet AT ALL.
phata_elise
Maybe it's because MySpace is a tad more fun and now I just want to sorta lay back and leave my character be. I think you made up your mind :) If you feel you want to do something else, then jsut do it. The game is about having fun. If your myspace provides more joy, focus on that. Your character will always be waiting for you. I'm so scared of quitting, I don't know if I'll come back... Look at my post count, I've invested waaay too much time into these forums to simply quit runescape. Both things are not important. Nothing in life lasts forever, if you feel it's then its over. Just do whatever you feel like. 8-)
Robert_Rdam
Just take a little break like people said before, But do not give stuff away. If you give all your stuff away, and you want to start playing again, you don't have anything to build on..and then you lose all interest, and then you quit for ever.. Take a break said 20000x now Credits to Skully Sc for the signature. ultrablue
I've been feeling like this for like 2 years. It seems to go away, but comes back again. Lately it hasn't gone away, and I barely play at all now. I just see if anyone is on to pk, if there isn't i'm off again. CS:S at the moment appeals more to me. Maybe I just need a break. Meh, good luck in whatever you do. Doubt ppl here know what cs.s is :P Noone on my friendlist knew what q3 is :>
Firechief242
Same here. I'm getting kinda bored with it. I did all the quests and there's nothing left to do except skills. Haven't played in a few days cuz it's boring. And they always have lame updates everyweek. I dunno I might quit next month maybe if there aren't any more good updates. Shaunri33
I thought I would personally never quit runescape, but it became way too boring for me. Theres nothing really too exciting to do, i got fire cape, got 85 slayer, got some stats to 99, and pking was very boring and stupid because people 15 levels lower would kill me. But i eventually quit, the only reason I did was because I foudn a better game called Guild Wars, then I eventually got World of Warcraft :P It's up to you if you want to quit, most people quit than come back though :P If you have any questions about World of Warcraft or you need an explanation about something, please feel free to pm me. hells_box
I feel the same exact way man. I don't want to quit Runescape but everything I do is boring now and the things I loved to do lose appeal to me more and more everyday. Like today for instance. I log in to play a game of castle wars, my favorite thing to do once upon a time. But I'm so not in the mood that I log out before the game even starts. There's nothing to do anymore and when I go to make money I can't seem to do it as good as I could before. I guess you have to quit sometime... Adam007
I haven't played in over a month, and you don't see me making a topic about it. Jagex themselves are having terrible updates lately. Just wait it out and they'll readdict you eventually. My philosophy is don't look at runescape like a permanent part of your life. It's not like you're 'on' or 'off' runescape, 'active' or 'quit.' Don't create that weird mentality for yourself. This is my main rule I go by: If you feel like playing, log on. It's really that simple. Don't dramatize it.
