ventuzz Posted October 16, 2006 Share Posted October 16, 2006 Does anyone else notice this? I see *a lot* of updates on "behind the scene", 99.9% of them hasn't make into game in half of this month. A lot of updates, what I mean is the updates are: * holiday event * POH wardrobe * cape of achievement * next series of Elemental Workshop * monster graphic upgrade * something related to farming (goutweed?) * extra potion to make in herblore It is possible that they are gonna delay some of them to next month, opinion? They're gonna group the potion, graphics and the arm thing in one. Holiday event usually gets its own update, it'll be a week before halloween, it always is. That just leaves wardrobe and capes of acheivemnt. They still like to release tomarrow and wednesday so don't whine yet. The quality of the updates is not the issue here is it? I agree im gettin bored, but i am right there is still no reason to post this when we have 3 weeks left to release the updates. How about making drops happen for just one night, perhaps a whip drop event where for 6 hours at a certain time blue dragons drop whips, or d2h. We need more fun, it would not take much from Jagex to increase our enjoyment and throw in some special events.. Also I would like to see the update day changed to Saturday or Sunday, I know this might be difficult for the Jagex devs but I think bringing an update out on a Monday is asking for trouble especially as this game is aimed at kids, once they get to know an update is coming out on weekday they seem to suddenly get a headache or stomach ache :) After reading the TIP.IT poll the other week on how old is the av player I noticed they were mostly of school age, sp please Jagex bring more fun into runescape, and release updates in a certain date but throw some curveballs in to keep players on there toes. How hard would it be to change the farming ratio on rannars for 1 evening to double amounts, or Runecraft double laws for 6 hrs only, this is what I would like to see. That's why Jagex release holiday updates two weeks before and after the actual holiday. I am talking about evenings after 4pm perhaps once a week, just somthing to break up the routine, I have only been playing for 9 months but i pay Jagex ton's of money per year for 4 subscriptions and would like to see somthing to keep the "majority" of scapers happy.. That dosen't mean that Jagex "has" to keep updating the game once a week like they do now. I wouldn't cancel my membership even if updates were removed. The updates keep me interested in the game longer and that's the aim of any company... To get more costumers and keep them happy so they don't go somewhere else with their cash. Anyway, guys, stop whining about not getting new updates there are plenny of things to do. While you wait why don't you do any of these many things to do? There are countless things to do, even for people with 99 everything (I won't say the name of the top player as I'm tired of abuse of disscussion about him ) and all quest points. Minigames are there for fun. There is always something to do. Today are plenny of things. You are seriously acting like 3 years ago, when there weren't so many updates. I'm serious, stop whining about this. There are very very many things to do in RuneScape as it is now. I think you should thank Jagex instead of whining about more updates.
