1withdragons
The exp difference per level from 70 - 99 is insane. For a 99 you need 13m some exp. At 70 you have about 750k exp. Take that into account. Set yourself a more reasonable goal, like 85 (which is what I'm going for in strength) then move on to like 90. 7 months ago, shoulen m0nk lured me for everything. If you know anything about him, pm me.lol that was a good story but his eyesight must be poor... it's a well known fact that mods only drop garages on players.

TheLeader
Yes. You are setting yourself a very silly target. After training for a month you will give up and think it is to hard. Set yourself realistic targets. Set yourself 85 then if you get hooked go on from there! Also if you having problems getting up levels due to bordem, try pest control or something fun as a work breakeruper.. lol ~Volks p.s. breadmaker40
It is an insane amount of experience to get to 99 in any skill. If you are only interested in combat level, then you need to try to keep all 3 as close to the same level as you can. Someone else advised setting more easily achievable goals. You might measure how much exp you are getting in an hour, and estimate how long it will take you at your current rate to get 5 levels. There are some things - like training on experiments, using potions, etc, - that will help increase experience per hour. Good luck. oreocookie987
Heres a fun fact for you: The amount of xp required to go from lvl 98 to 99 in a skill is almost the same amount of xp required to go from lvl 1 to 75. Chew on that for a while  Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian. StrikerRay
yehh i would say gain a def level, then gain a str level, then gain an attk leven and so on...keep em even ;) \:D/ Ray::P2P::::Roaming Around::::Phat me pl0x?::::Beamster:: \:D/
nightshade53
yehh i would say gain a def level, then gain a str level, then gain an attk leven and so on...keep em even ;) That would be the easiest way, but get try and get roughly the same XP in attack, strength and defence then train with a whip on controlled. :) Also, maybe break it up with some slayer tasks? I'm going for 90 range on my tank, and I was soo bored that now I've started some slayer :)
endo
i believe it would be better for you to set a smaller goal and start climbing up the levels :P
Tbfgraphx14
For 126 combat I think you will need some 80million exp no? If im wrong someone correct me. Thats Range, Prayer, Magic, Hitpoints, Attack, Stregth, and Defence. Tbfgraphx14Happy to find I'm not the only one who eats glass.
Sumpta
For 126 combat I think you will need some 80million exp no? If im wrong someone correct me. Thats Range, Prayer, Magic, Hitpoints, Attack, Stregth, and Defence. You need to max out in 4 combat skills, not 6. So melee would need 99 hp, str, att and prayer. Anyhow, insane goal. I'm working from 104 to 111 (ahh the beauty of that number) and thought I was setting myself a crazy goal... Most 126's you meet have been playing for a few solid years. Pest Control eases it somewhat, but gets seriously boring after a while.

rft
For 126 combat I think you will need some 80million exp no? If im wrong someone correct me. Thats Range, Prayer, Magic, Hitpoints, Attack, Stregth, and Defence. your range and prayer wont count towards your 126 combat. If you want to get to 126 combat, try doing pest control or slayer to break up your training. The hardest skil that you will have to level is prayer, it will most likely cost you an arm and a leg. At only 46 prayer, I am not sure that you appreaciate how difficult that skill is to level. Dragon bones+ecto/gilded altar seems the best way forward, or use the Pest Control points to get your xp. Just try to get your prayer to 73 (1mil xp) and see how hard that is. Then think that you need to get the same amount of xp 12 times more to get to 99. I'd reccommend getting your combat skills to 85 and prayer to 70 and see how you feel trying to get higher combat. Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. ThreeRivers1
Heres a fun fact for you: The amount of xp required to go from lvl 98 to 99 in a skill is almost the same amount of xp required to go from lvl 1 to 75. That alone makes me want to crawl into the corner, assume the foetal position and cry myself to sleep. Seriously though, there is the cold hard fact why you shouldn't target 99, and set yourself smaller goals, like 80, then 85 etc, 'cos aiming for 99 straight up will send you insane! Basically I'm agreeing with the other posts that said exactly that. Pest contral is my fave way to train combat, 'cos you get two bites of the cherry (exp while playing, and exp for pc points). It's less boring that many other methods too. 99 Attack at 102 Combat. :DNow training fletching... ;)
kaotic_supa
Here's a quick thought. I started playing this past new year. I became a member in March. Im currently level 119 combat, one attack level (600k+ xp) away from 120. But from here on, everything is twice the effort I have done so far just to get to 126. So in a short conclusion, it is an attainable cause. Although it'll require a whole of concentration and dedication on your training. I also have 1650+ total levels. So if I didn't exert my time to other skills, I may have attain the highest possible combat. But that'll make this game unenjoyable. Cheers :)
Blaze The Movie Fan
126 combat is an insane goal. I've been killing many dragons and dug some dragon bones, and believe me it still took me long time to advance. Of course I'm aiming for 126 combat as well, but it isn't possible within a month. Killing monsters is a quick way to gain goal. But there is one thing I don't recommand, AFK training. Anyway get out there, fish lobsters or buy sharks, go to Brimhaven Dungeon and kill some greater demons. They are good source for level3 clues as well as rune full helmets. Greater demons are defintley one of the quickest, I can on avarge kill 100 at one trip. That's quick. For prayer try blue dragons, they aren't so tough, I personally find greater demons better monsters if blue dragons didn't drop hide because admant platelegs are better than steel platelegs while rune full helmet is better than adamant full helmet. You get higher profit from rune full helmet than a rune dagger. So I find rune full helmet better. Well, greater demons are best to fight for fast training. Good luck. \
Dragon_Scyth
I havnt read all the post so somone may have said this but ill just add a lvl 85 Stat is 1 quarter of a lvl 99 stat in EXP. QueenValerie
I agree set yourself smaller goals aiming for Combat Level 126 is a unreal goal at the moment for you, sure you could do it but let me fill you in on something. I have been playing for nearly 2 yr's Feb will be officially 2 yrs for me. My goal 2 yr's ago was cb level 126 and yet I still am not. Raising combat is not hard thanks to PC which I never used but getting 98 prayer is horrible, the cost of raising prayer is just insane. I spent millions in drag bones and still am. My friend went from level 95 prayer to level 98 and it took her forever to get that from doing PC. So yeah go with smaller goals so you don't get burnt out and :wall:
