With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. I've read every tip.it times every week religeously ever since the first issue :P . I think I can piece together the clues to come to the following: The Editor has a very distinct diction. If you pay close attention to the articles under he\shes' name, a lot of the time only the beginning and the ending paragraphs carry that strong style. The middle tends to be more factual, and is probably written by someone else. Heres what I think: The title of the article, 'style', and so forth are made by one person, probably Kiara_Kat. The statistics, topic, and other little facts are made by someone else, probably Oddfarey. The other parts of it are much too general and remain a mystery to me... Whoever our "humble Editor" as he\she\they call themselves is, they sure can write and catch my attention. The Editor seems like an interesting person... But I guess its one of those mysteries we just won't ever be able to solve....We can try, but I doubt we'll make much progress. Cheers, -Comedyguy. Now that I found this dumb topic, I know I won't rest till I find out though. Have you ever given any thought to the possibility that we may have gone through 2, or even 3 editors since the Tip.It Times was first published last year? If that's possible, then you can't base your guess on one single person's stats, or that list of "clues" in the first topic, can you? Or even on one single person's interests or writing style, for that matter. Also, you're assuming that the Editor has only ever written articles as "The Editor". How do you know that? Maybe the Editor has also written a piece or two under his or her own name as well? I'm not telling. And before you jump to conclusions, NO, the Editor is NOT Duke_Freedom. Lastly, I don't want anyone bothering the Crew or Mods with any of this, they DO NOT KNOW who the Editor is. Only I and some of the other Admins know the mysterious Editor's identity. And we're not telling, muwahahaha!!!! :twisted: But please, keep debating, this is fun to read. And someone said keeping the secret wouldn't stimulate discussion....HA! By the way as a guide to disiphering whatever the tip.it staff are saying: Since they already said that they aren't going to to tell you even if you guess it, anything that comes from them from now on is probably to throw you off, hey who knows, maybe what I just quoted was something that Kiara was using to throw us off. Assuming that its one person and they haven't given any false clues, it has to be either AllBogs or pokemama. I have no clue what either of their stats are, but AllBogs says in his profile that he's a student. In the articles, the Editor states that he's a nerd (he actually says that), and the writing style is certainly that of an educated person. So my guess for now is AllBogs. Also, judging by Kiara_kat's response, we're getting pretty close. Lets keep it up, and if anyone has the RSNs of pokemama or AllBogs, please either post them or their stats. There must be some form of collaboration to come up with a good topic every week. Being and especially staying original on your own is very hard, you need to brainstorm with other people. The ones who are in on the secret, are quite possibly either the group of editors, or support the one person who has the capacities to write the essay.
