I'm not a good pixelist and I have every right to make pixel sigs. Its really kinda being hypocritical how you tell bad pixelists to stop trying pixel, when you're one of those guys yourself. (Not saying I'm a good pixelist.)

I personaly think there's 1 thing that should close this problem:

We are on media board and they'r posting their works. Bad or good doesn't matter, they still have all the rights to produce something and post it. If u don't like the quality just leave the right C&C or simply ignore that post. I know it's a bit of a pain to check some 5-mins made pixelworks whose post took away of 1st page something twice as good for your eyes but still that's what media board is supposed to be.

 

 

 

I myself started to post on some of these bad attempts rating them for what they are (no pointless flames). If i have to suggest to try another art style i do...but i won't go around saying : Ehi you, how on earth could you post such a *somethingabusive* !?!? . And i agree with Crate, does it realy matter if it's your first or 200th ? Looks like there's a lot of ppl asking for mercy even before u can actualy check their works...It cracked me up when i saw a "9th pixel try"...ehi i lost count at 3rd :P

I'm not really going to talk alot and I'll just summarize what I think. There is freedom of speech here and everyone has a right to post whatever they want. Not many people may like what some people post, and those people who post might want to use their kindness to not spam the forum with some attemps they know people won't like. I always check what I make before I post it because I don't want to waste people's time into watching something that isn't worth posting. As long as you really try and post in order to get input on how to improve, that's always cool. Sometimes I think some starters post a lot to get some attention rather than to get input about their work, which wouldn't be the right reason to post sigs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Some people have improved skills from this pixeling posting, and no one starts with these skills so eventually sooner or later you will be forced to show some bad work at the beginning as long as you learn from your mistakes and make your skills better.

i use the bucket tool, within some stuffs like bg, big armour pieces, trees, bigger stones, sheilds etc. no need to do pixel by pixel with them... just taked 15x longer and makes no really bigger diffrence, IMO
