zach312
did you know that pressing ctrl while walking makes you run to your destination when you assign new point? Yes. I find it quite useless, lol. How is that useless? It's so much simpler than going to your player options menu and clicking on "run" EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to run and/or stop running. And if you honestly PK by using the options menu.......you're an idiot. (general statement) Mugutu

I could be wrong on that but I read it somewhere. did you know that pressing ctrl while walking makes you run to your destination when you assign new point? Yes. I find it quite useless, lol. Giordano
You had to go someplace in Draynor to note items. Capone_Sabre
You had to click the pickaxe in your inventory, then click a rock to mine. You had to right click on a fishing spot, click harpoon and keep repeating constantly to catch sharks. Getting 15k combat xp per hour was exceptionally good. You had to have a conversation with the banker everytime you wanted to get into your bank. Theiving was actually a challenge. Summary: Did you know runescape used to be difficult? Freesia
Mining was so easy in RSC because any ore you mined after you have full inventory automactically goes under your feet. Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

jorus2
I'm sure a lot of these people read this stuff on the tip.it article last week :P. Well there used to be life runes, no use for them though. Jagex mods used to interac with people. Theres too many now to do that. There was a big fight with dragon battles between andrew and someone else when heros quest came out :P. I remember when rs was hard too, EVERYTHING took time. All the skills,, trading (no notes, 1 by 1 trades), banking it all took time. I also remember when rune plate was the most respected item because it meant you had to have killed the green dragon. Also null was a funny site, often happened in world 1 varrock centre where everyone traded, if too many people were in 1 spot then someone would lag out and become a level 1 "null". 90 Combat 1900+ Total99 Crafting 99 Cooking 99 Firemaking99 Herblore 99 Fletching 98 Farming
thingummywut
Ah, the golden times and good memories. By the way, does someone remember any more about black/white magic (good/evil, whatever it was called)? I remember a cool black magic spell called "Fear". It made any NPC run from any battle, if I recall correctly. I also remember seeing the gates of Asgarnia closed as well as gates to Player Owned House areas in Varrock and Falador. The area in Falador is actually still pretty empty, like it still was reserved for that purpose (the east part of town). The addition of banks where you could store items aside coins was maybe the greatest addition ever too. And I remember ghost town renamed Edgeville. This was when it got the general shop, later it got the bank too.
