December 8, 200619 yr Same point as full dragon. Alot of people prefer not having to repair armor. Alot of people like to show off by way of look what I got in a drop or how rich I am. Also dont forget the, "Look how lucky I am!" people. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !

Like most things in all fantasy films (lotr) the best armours are some how always the ones that no one knew of.... the ones buried by the ancients kinda of thing :? i like it O:) ive quit because of the dumb side of the RS community, not because i play too much (like 1 hour a day) dont get lured!

December 8, 200619 yr well in my oppinion, barrows > 3rd age the thrid age offers good def, but rarely do you need the full set AND good def. most of the time you can heal with guthans and not worry about the 50 less def. the only times i can think of is with DKing and KQing. dharoking is used for having low hp, so that doesnt really count. so to tell you the truth, i would much rather just camp with a set of guthans and a rune kite + whip/dscim or something and just forget about the 3rd age. its just going to end up being a novelty like god armour. basically what i was trying to get at was you will not always need the full set effect and a high def at the same time. most of the time you are training somwhere where it wont matter.

Anyways, as said before this is a lot like Dragon is/was. No need to repair it at all, which makes it very good both on its own and used in the fashion wakka pointed out. That and the shield rules. And 60M, lol, they JUST came out. It's not like the price isn't going to go down a ton soon. [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
December 8, 200619 yr jagex only wishes to cut down on runescape inflation by introduceing new, expesive, rare items. alas no this won't do anything for inflation - jagex previous methods such as construction actually takes moeny from the game (via the sawmill guy and the estate agents, presumably the richest guys in RS) - this just moves it about from player to player On topic - let it calm down pricewise, then we will see if people prefer them to barrows/dragon due to higher availability/repair
