Do you report your friends?

I'll report them, if they were scamming me, or something. I probably wont report them if they curse or swear in priv chat *unless they do it A LOT* and I'll report them if they buy an account irl for cash etc, because that ruins the fun for EVERYONE.

As long as it is nothing serious against me, I would not report them. If they scam me, or are threatning me while being serious or attempting to scam me. Then I will.

i reported my friend because he said website to me it was a joke and the joke turned into perm mute :S but i dealed with mod lawrence and he got it off :D and now my friend is happy

Anyway, if they scammed me, they aren't my friends, so yes.

 

 

 

If they bug abuse, I would probably ask them to stop it if it was serious, and I would just report the bug anonamously (need sp.)

 

 

 

Swearing, no, I can live with that. You only report if you are offended, and I am not exactly weak-minded. If someone else hears it and is offended, I won't stop them.

 

 

 

Macroing, hmm, maybe. I would definately ask them to stop, and if it became a serious problem, yes i would report them.

 

 

 

Advertising, I think the same as swearing. Anyway, s/he would logically only pm me, and I would only report if it was a scamming website, or broke the rules in some way. O:)

You can allways hope that there will be someone around who teaches you a lesson when u happen to slip up. Who needs enemies when u have friends like that?

I actually did report my long time RS friend for multiple logging on once.

 

 

 

He logged into his regular account, said "watch this...", then a PM came to me saying "Hey, it's ****, guess what I'm doing?"

 

 

 

I said, "two accounts at once?" "Yeah, neat, huh?"

 

 

 

I immediately reported him for multiple logging AND account sharing.

 

 

 

We are still RS friends to this day (he's a member of my community now), and he's never done it again.

 

 

 

Lesson learned? I hope so.

I have NEVER ever REPORTED A SOLE in my 3 years of playing and ill be damned if im gonna start with my friends. Im not going to be degraded to some sort of milicia for jagex porpouses, or even worse some type of ingame hitlerjugend and rat out my friends.

 

 

 

The farthest i would go with a friend who has done something im appaled by is that i would simply tell him/her that im disgusted with his/hers actions and that this is "it" concerning me and him/ her. Stuff like that doesnt have a ring of backstabbing tagged on it, and it actually does more good at the end then to click "report abuse". But in the end the real question id have to ask myself is: would i want to have friends who would ever report me if i would by some mysterious coincidence break any of the rules. Answer is no in my case. Would u want friends like that?
