djr94
I would report my friends if he was doing something serious. I'm not one to report someone for for really minor offenses. If my friend reported me for something I wouldn't be to mad, I mean It would be my fault since I did it in the first place.

If they were a friend from a different game: No, If they scam me. Yes If they are a real life friend: NO. fat_hobbit22
dont have any internet friends..... i think its sad in my opinion, if they are your friend you should have seen them -.- (not saying that you cant meet a friend on the iternet, but imo they are not a friend until i met them) on topic: (now we know what a friend is) NOOOOOOOOOOOO its a game lol, its his cash and his life but he is your m8 and its really sad that you are questioning your friendship over a game. If he scams you, hes clearley not your friend because its a personal atack towards you where as buyin runescape gold aint. new topic thingy: to be honest if my mate stole a computer, i would probably be there stealing it with him (im that close with my m8s  ) and if he stole it with out me i would be deeply disapointed because he didnt ask me to come along... but seriously cheating in a game... no real loss (as long as it did not hurt any1s feelings) breaking laws.. this can affect some1s life and is serious... Wrench_150
Depends what rule they broke. Maybe he bragged about scamming someone, I would obviously tell him not to do so again, everyone deserves a second chance on a small matter is what I think. If they continue, I have no choice but to report this friend. If it's something big like real life trading and I'm sure most of my friends know, I would still tell them to stop. If it's something like macroing and they didn't know it's against the rules (doubt that) I'll just ignore it and if they know then it's the report button. I guess it really depends whether the person is innocent or not. Whether they continue or not and what the case is. Basically, it's mostly no, but in some matters inwhich they disagree that it is fair to cheat, they will get reported sooner or later. Why not sooner and save chaos. 99 Fletch~~99 WC~~79/81 Fishing87/94 Magic~~84 RangeEtha! Saradomin Forever~CWCB: 107 Total: 1788+ON BREAK

sa121
Unless they scammed me, probably not. I don't care about language; You hear worse language in school than in Runescape, and no one seems to complain about that. And if they bought Runescape items for real life cash..Well, it's their money. darkblade986
It really comes down to the point of "Are they still your friends now?" If they tried to hack your account, and admitted it, then they are a theif and I would openly report them because they admitted to trying and betray my trust. Same goes with Item Scamming: they took my items and won't give them back, they don't deserve to even keep the account, let alone the item. If it's something minimal, like swearing, of course I wouldn't report them (I hardly report people for offensive language anyways), and I'd probably be using the same language right back (minus censor avoiding if they did that). don't worry, you are going to "hell" anyway. wanna race to see who gets there first?Officially reached 100 Combat at 1:33PM EST, June 14, 2007First Dragon Drop: Dragon Chain (Dust Devils) @ 10:48PM EST, July 14, 2008, lv113 combat
Striker6
I like to think I choose my friends wisely, I would only ever report one if they tried to scam me, they wouldn't be a very good friend if they did. icedearth06
Hell no! I've had friends selling accts to people all the time. I thought of it as a joke to report them one time, but didn't. If they scammed, then oh well then I lose something I worked hard for. RL or not I wouldn't dare touch that report button and type in a friends name. :shame: More Tip.it Friends Needed! Ddrmaster7
I reported my friend once for offensive language when I was pissed at him. :P If a friend started cursing at me, no. If he bought stuff for IRL cash, probably not. I'd warn him, but I would let him dig his own hole. If he got caught, it'd be his fault, not mine. Bug abuse - no, as long as he wasn't spawning blue phats. As long as it was a small graphical glitch or something harmless, I wouldn't report. If he scammed, oh yeah. Rebdragon
Hell no. And if they scammed me, they wouldn't exactly be my friend, now would they? buffrichie
 What about irl law breaking? If your mate stole a computer from your school, would you report that? "NO, he's my friend" How can you draw the line between two rules and decide that irl trading is good to me, but scamming is bad? Irl scamming (stealing) is bad, but online game pixel selling (stealing) is good to you. And that you can report someone you don't know for irl trading, but not your friend? You value your personal 'gain' (+1 friend for me) over the laws and the system you are living in. Don't know, it sounds weird to me. And yes, I made this post to keep up the discussion. This is one of the most important questions I have thought of today :| dumb question... irl stealing is AGAINST THE LAW.... and you can go to JAIL for it. computer hacking is against the law so thats the only thing i would report anyone for...
