drgnslyer_15
high lvl quest :o no more low lvl quest point capers  I am quite sure it wont be harder than Desert Treasure, RFD, or legends. It better be :| Every single quest we have so far has been flat out easy in terms of combat.yeah i always bring this up but legends in classic was much harder than legends on here and pretty much any other quest i've did on here.... Just my opinion quests are easy some may take a while to complete RFD but aren't hard to complete RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp
Esper_Jones
I really hope by high level combat, JageX doesn't mean "70 is a high skill, isn't it?" If it really does require 100+ combat, I'll be impressed. The mini-game, honestly, does not really intrigue me, but it seems like it will be another pest control... or a flop. I laughed out loud at the "Cold War" name for the quest. Why do I get the feeling Mod Mark is involved in this? ;) All in all, this will be a great month! meb
The new high lvl quest is what got my attention the most, along with the new mini game. I'm probably going to try out the quest when it comes out, but I most likely won't meet the requirements and will need to do like 5 quests before I can start it. You could start with a tail of 2 cats and Itchglarin's little helper, sinc the quest is located in Sophanem : . I hope the new agility will be like Pyramid Plunder for thieving. We can still dream Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Jock66600
Wow, the Cold War, guess we are like Mikhail Gorbachev with his reform acts that brought the Cold War to the end. I have an issue with people saying things about low combats wearing Quest Capes, who cares? At least we tryed. Another note, I hope it is high combat as in 130s and have two styles of attack. But not requirements of how high your combat stats are. A Cold War... That is a very scary term, the great super nations fighting for power, it will end in blood. Hoping the Agility Arena is 60+ Agility, and something like the Ape Toll Course where you can not do things repeatly. And maybe around 800 exp per round. Irool
the minigame is gonna be awesome.. that is until it becomes empty..like castlewars...and pest control... why again do we have 100+ servers of empty mini games again?? Its not like anyones running pest control on server X right now (where X is any number over 10) How about only putting the mini games in SOME of the servers so they're never empty because 6-8 months down the line the game gets repetitious and the popularity of the game goes down. The popularity will go down over time--that can't be helped--But why should the minigame not continue to be played? (or be played on a much much smaller scale) really sucks to not have 100 vs 100 castlewars anymore. World 2 castle wars used to be the place on friday night it got MASSIVE. I distinctly remember resubbing for it one weekend when i was bored and not being disappointed. Now I go there and it's just like what the heck, this isn't the castlewars i was playing >1 year ago. 15 on 15 is zzzz compared to the old school stuff for me. I can't find a good pest control world anymore. And don't really want to run it with a clan ( that would be maximizing all possible repetitiveness of the game, no thanks ) Oh well I'm gonna just be glad they add a new one everytime they let their old one die and be sure to play this new one a lot. I bet they've actually learned a lot from the last 2 games. I noticed a lot of things i liked better about pest control over castlewars. 100 Combat91 Strength70 Defense82 Attack85 Magic =)

zach312
This month looks like it will be much better than December. I like the look of every one of these updates. Maybe we'll even get Barbarian Assault later today? Doubt they're going to update today, I'm guessing not even tomorrow. Then again, I didn't expect the behind the scenes untill tomorrow. I wonder what Jagex consideres high combat :-k I'm hoping for 80+ in att str and def, probably will be lower, but on can still hope. 80 ranging, almost flat 80 melee stats and 82 magic. I'm ready for that quest. The new agiltiy course sounds good, and seeing as the Lunar see will be extended I have to get that last crafting level. Please for the love of GOD do not say 80 ranging, I don't want to train range for 3 levels. :ohnoes: Mugutu
Artemis_42
High level quest? I'm guessing "Must be able to kill a level 60 monster who only uses melee." Those were my thoughts when I saw that too. Hopefully it's the most difficult quest yet, none of the others were too difficult at all =/ Perhaps you should try doing quests without using the guide, quests like MEP2 or DT really are much more challenging when you don't know exactly what your supposed to do and knowing exactly how to they fight and kill them. As for the new minigame, I think Jagex forgets that the average Runscape player has an IQ less than a peanut. Most likely this new minigame will only be properly played by serious groups similar to Affliction or Heart Unit. Adam007
A Cold War... That is a very scary term, the great super nations fighting for power, it will end in blood. The name cold war implies there's no blood... Overall this month seems just a tad above the usual mediocrity. Of course they hype everyone up like usual, but I'm not expecting much. I've learned to lower my expectations a long time ago so I don't end up disappointed like I always did. When they say a high level melee, they mean things along the line of the 130+ melee 'high' melee requirement for the warriors guild. Or how one might need a high level to fight 3 consecutive 100+ monsters. I think it's funny how you guys are actually expecting an update catered to the small high level 100+cbt percentage of rs. It's not going to happen. :)

Artemis_42
Yah, sorry about the assumption, however from personal experience I find that most of the people who complain about quests being too easy are the same people that use the guides. I hope this upcoming quest will actually be one that requires some thought. However from the bts it sounds more like a test of endurance.
