Do you have a strange/obscure recipe that you made up yourself?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I constantly snack on bread, plastered in Salad cream then put into a microwave for 20 seconds. :)

Nacho TV dinner

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredient list:

  • - Nachos
     
     
     
    - Tex Mex Hot salsa
     
     
     
    - Refried beans
     
     
     
    - Jalapenos
     
     
     
    - Cheese
     
     
     
    - Tex Mex Dip (From Co-op)

Method:

  • - Spread the refried beans over a microwaveable plate.
     
     
     
    - Microwave for 3 Mins on full power.
     
     
     
    - Load up the plate with nachos =P~
     
     
     
    - Cover the nachos in the Salsa!
     
     
     
    - Put back into the microwave for 3 more mintutes.
     
     
     
    - Garnish with cheese and Jalapenos
     
     
     
    - Use dip when necessary :P

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All results in a hawt TV dinner <3:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dice up apples,strawberries, and grapes. Toss in bowl. Add chocolate. Yum yum.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chicken marinated in Skittles

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Place a bag of skittles in hot water and allow to dissolve over night.
     
     
     
    Take the juice and line a baking tray with it, placing your chicken on top and cook at 210 degrees.
     
     
     
    After 10 minutes of cooking, pour some juice over the chicken and reduce the temperature to 150 degrees.
     
     
     
    Remove from oven after a further 20 minutes and divulge in heaven.
     
     
     

 

 

 

I once made an omlette which if I don't say so myself was the best I've ever tasted.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Basically, it was a normal omlette (is that how you spell it anyway?) but I didn't wash the pan because I couldn't be arsed. Oh plus I added some ham in there. But whatever was left over in that pan tasted good.

We'll believe it or not, but when I was an infant I used to catch the ants which crawled onto the kitchen sink and then dipped them in sand in my sandbox, and then ate them. Apparently I told everyone it tasted like Vegemite. :lol:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's my recipe. Though I'd advise you not to follow in my footsteps. :wink:

Hehe I love recipes. ::' My personal favourite (I make it without the ham/bacon but you can really add anything in it)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pasta La Yummy

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Cook a large amount of pasta (preferably fiorelli) in tons of water for six minutes. Then heat up a little bit of oil in a frying pan. While it's heating chop up two onions, one/two peppers, and optionally mushrooms and ham. Put the peppers in first, then the onions. When the onions start to go yellow add the mushrooms and ham.

 

 

 

Keep cooking the pasta, when it's finished drain and pour into a preferably large colourful bowl, mix in the fried vegetables.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mhm. Enjoy!

 

 

 

(I tend to have about 3 helpings at a time of this. :-w )

I have lots of little recipes... One that comes directly to mind is, get an egg and crack it over a bowl of your choice of unsweetened cereal (I've used raisin bran the most often, it's probably the best choice) then mix it up. Then I throw it in a pan and cook it like scrambled eggs, and put cinnamon in it, and cook it all up. Then I put honey on it and eat it. It's a pretty hearty meal... It's like having an egg AND a bowl of cereal, minus milk.

Fried Cheesesticks! ^_^ My boyfriend loves them!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Go to the store and buy some of those peel off cheesesticks. Also buy some Italian Breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, and flour.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Get a few eggs, and crack them into a bowl and add milk, then stir them together good. Take the cheesesticks, and dip them into the eggy mixture, then into flour. Dip them again into the mixture, then roll them in Italian Breadcrumbs. Repeat this for however many cheesesticks you want.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Put them into the freezer for about fifteen minutes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Warm up some oil in a pot and once the oil is boiling, take the cheesesticks out of the freezer and throw them in. Fry them until they're golden brown.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can dip them in marinara sauce, ketchup, or whatever you think they'd go good with. My boyfriend and my whole family loves it when I make Fried Cheesesticks. :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Baked Sweet Potato (Yam)

 

 

 

Buy some sweet potatoes. Take them home, clean them off really good, and then, basically throw them into the oven. It might take awhile, but the key is to let them cook slowly, and most importantly, evenly. You can cook them in the microwave, but it's tricky, so I prefer to put them into the oven. IF you like to eat the skin on the potato, then you can rub vegetable oil on the outside of the potato prior to putting it into the oven. That way, when you take it out, the skin is flaky and crispy. ^_^

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the potato is hot and soft, take it out, cut it open, add some butter and brown sugar. Around Thanksgiving time in the states, they sell some pumpkin flavored butter and this is extremely good inside the potato instead of regular butter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After you add the butter and the brown sugar, mash it all up and eat it with a fork. ^_^ It's yummy!

In Europe, they put ketchup on everything. Well, Eastern Europe at least.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hmm... i think i might be adopted from Europe then, i live of Ketup. I have used it on salad, buttered noodles, steak, chicken, whatever.

Get some precooked potatoes and saute them in a frying pan. Slice up some bacon into strips and throw that in. Then add an egg or two when it's starting to cook well and mix that in. Add some rocket leaves on top and plenty of seasoning. Delicious.

My only recipe is a bit of a hybrid scrambled eggs / omlette. It's almost like a speed-omlette.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Get your fry pan with about 1/4 inch of canolia oil in it an put it on high heat

 

 

 

2. Make your "omlette" mixture (should take about 5 minutes I guess)

 

 

 

3. But this stage the oil should be scorching hot; pour in your omlette mixture

 

 

 

4. start cooking some toast

 

 

 

5. run back to the omlette and flip it every 20 or so seconds.

 

 

 

6. take off after about 2 minutes / when the toast pops up

 

 

 

7. eat

I'll make it different every time I do it. Worcestire Sauce, Soy Sauce, Buffalo Chicken Sauce, you name it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In fact, I found this recipe that I thought was unbelievably good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-->Food Network<-- Sauteed Shrimp

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If it's by the food network, it has to be good, and it was. Throw a little pasta under it, and it's a great meal!

This isn't really personal, loads of people cook it but it's one of my favourite meals - jollof rice. But there's loads of variations, so I'll tell you mine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

-Basically get oil in a big pan, add a couple of tablespoons of tomato puree

 

 

 

-After 5 minutes add a can of chopped tomatoes-leave to simmer

 

 

 

-Add a can or corned beef, and mash it up inside the tomato sauce so that there are few lumps - leave to simmer

 

 

 

-Add 2 teaspoons of hot chilli powder and mix in

 

 

 

-Add a beef and prawn stock cube and mix in thoroughly

 

 

 

-Leave to simmer for 10 minutes

 

 

 

-Add 2 cups of dry basmati rice, mix well and leave for 45 minutes

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Voila! Scrumdiddlyumptious.
