Granite helms seem idiotic to me, why would you want your head to weigh an extra ten pounds? *cough* or wear 35 pound body armor *cough* Ahem... BekBrok Posted January 14, 2007 Share Posted January 14, 2007 Making granite armor would be cool.. but look at this granite maul: drops from gargoyle or something granite shield: drops from troll generals, troll throwers and higher lvl trolls granite legs: drops from skeletal wyverns granite top: obtainable after beating penance queen now, all these items require high lvl skills or just being good in BA. except for killing troll throwers, but they will team up on you really bad o.o so, i dont think there will be granite armor which u can make... (and btw, have you ever heard of ppl making armors out of STONE?) Honestly I think that Jagex really has made smithing to a proportion to a point where it cannot be modified. It's way too old of a skill to be changed now. Smithing has been around since RSC, and hasn't been changed since. If Jagex also released a new skill it would be pandamonium. I mean, where would we find our total level?! They'd know granite had been mine-able for a while.. but still no use.. not even for statues in your house(kinda odd I'd think, but what do I know.. I'm sure limestone is just as good as sandstone & granite.. The actual design of it isn't too bad, the problem is that they made it a bit to large. I imagine a granite helm would look something like Juggernaut's from X-Men.
