January 17, 200719 yr I really can not fathom how it takes them this long to call something a mistake then fix it. I like many others assumed that the granite mine was deliberately made to be exempt from the desert heat since there are other places where this is true. There was no purpose to the mine after the quest other than power leveling or they should not have made it a fairly consistent one hit rock with the good xp it gives for a quest based item. The main thing here is the time between release and fixing it. This is the same reason that the change to Verac hitting through prayer annoyed me. If Jagex does this, they should also halve the xp for both Pyramid Plunder and Pest Control. I have no idea why they did this, why remove a moderately good method of leveling a skill and keep the 200k/ hour methods for other *hard* skills? :-k Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

Its not that we all are ranting about it getting harder, the fact remains it took them this long to change it. As for why you do not need waterskins in the bandit camp my only thought on this is because you are in tents/houses, but yet when you stand outside of the tents/house no waterskins is needed. Makes no sense to me at all. Lol, that don't make sense. Jagex: "We like theivers!" Jagex: "We hate Miners!" I agree ~ If they are going to make changes at least have logic behind the changes. I still think people will mine there me included but will also mine iron along with it.

Now thats dented my goal and now i just can't be bothered to go for it. As i'm bad at computer art, and probably the wrong forum, can someone make like a "Support Granite Mine No Waterskin" kind of sig. Try to make it understandable. Just a thought... lol.

Yeah its a shame i could take that chance to powerlevel mining too, but sure is logic...bandit camp is a "city" in the desert like all those cities, and even that mining camp from that quest, clearly you see why in the cities theres no need to waterskins. January 17, 200719 yr I was considering another short stint there myself (I find mining one of the most boring skills, so tend to use the desert site for a spot of power mining every now and then) - surely they could at least introduce an oasis or underground spring with a stand pipe, or a good few cactus so you can at least replenish the water you take without too much trouble?
