January 27, 200719 yr I really wanted to go to Wesleyan University (a top liberal arts school in Connecticut which is also top-notch in sciences, and with a reputation for... liberalism). I applied early decision, got in, and am there now :D And I highly recommend it :D PM me if you have any queeestions about it :D Everybody hug and spread the love :D
January 27, 200719 yr I currently go to Brock University in Ontario. I'm there for computer science, and though it's not a well known program, it's getting bigger and more popular every year. I hope to go for my B.Ed after I get my honours degree and that is something that Brock is well known for, so it will balance out. If I had my first choice, I would have gone to Waterloo for math/computer science and then gone to Brock for my B.Ed, but you need high 90's in high school to get into that program. (And getting high 90's in Ontario is alot harder than getting high 90's in the US).
January 27, 200719 yr (And getting high 90's in Ontario is alot harder than getting high 90's in the US). Funny thing, last Wednesday, we had a graduate from my high school to come and talk about his uni experience. He talked to about 30 people or so and we got to ask questions. Throughout his talk, he was just talking about work, then he had a full time job, and how he went to France to practice his French. Then I asked how he paid for his studies, then he says he had full scholarship on his first year. Then someone asked what grades he got and he was like "oh, well I did well in my last year.. I did pretty good" Then he says, "I got something 92 or 93." It's not that we were surprised he got that mark, it's just how he was so modest about it. He was offered a 'better' scholarship in Uni of Toronto, but he said no and went to York instead. :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
January 27, 200719 yr I want to go the Leuven university :) If I can't get in there, I'm going to go the the university in Antwerp. Both in Belgium.
January 27, 200719 yr The University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lol! #1 party school in the nation-suppose to be a lot of fun there I could have swore Miami was #1. It could have changed, either way Madison is still way up there
January 27, 200719 yr I got into NC State and UNC Asheville, both in state schools. I also applied at Virginia Tech and Clemson, but haven't heard back yet. I have absolutely no idea where I want to go though =(. State is probably the best school for me education-wise, but their campus sucks =\. Eh I'll probably end up there. I got into Wilmington (don't want to go), App (same feeling), and Asheville. State sort of scared me off on account of it being so large. I've visited Asheville a few times (going up for "shadow" program on feb 9th) and the city's pretty nice. Another thing I liked about it was that when I went for the open house they told me they had 93 clubs/organization, so it seems like it will be easier to adjust.
January 27, 200719 yr Author my dad went to west point . i know how hard the rules are. he sometimes very stict
January 27, 200719 yr I wouldn't mind going to Columbia or John's Hopkins University for my undergrand or medical school if it comes down to that :D But it's so expensive! By The_Jeppoz

I know A LOT of people at my school that are going to Wilmington and App. It would be kind of cool to go to Wilmington being right by the beach and all, but I never really wanted to go there. I considered App but, well I don't know why I didn't apply there lol. I want to go to a school that's harder to get into. I've herad people calling Appalachin "Application." Regardless, it's still a pretty good school I hear. I understand about State, I want to go a somewhat big school, but not THAT big. Yea Asheville has a great campus and about three or four people from my church go there that I'm pretty close with. I would probably want to go to Asheville if they had a better programs for computer-related stuff. So is Asheville your number one choice? Honestly, there is no point whatsoever. I'd get better replies if I argued with a tree stump.
January 28, 200719 yr I'd like to go to Harvard and get my Masters in Pre-law, then go to Harvard Law School, and get my degree in law, and become an attorney. My Farewell thread. Please post nicely, or die. :^_^:Yea, I'd vote for him too. But I don't think they let Iraqis vote :P

It has to be an in state school and chapel hill is out of the picture. I could get into state but as I said before, I don't like big schools. State is supposed to be great for computer/engineering stuff. I get what you say about App. I'm sure it's not a terrible school but a big reason that I choose Asheville is because it takes a higher gpa and sat score to get in.

January 30, 200719 yr OSU ( Ohio State University ) - Easy for me to get into, hoping to get into Honors Program. Going to apply this summer. UC ( University of Cincinnati ) - Extremely easy to get into, last resort school. I'm not sure where else I want to go, since I have no idea what my major will be, but whatever, OSU has an extremely large class selection, so I'm good.

January 30, 200719 yr Actually, West Point regularly has undergrads from europe, canada, and pacific islanderwhatevers. As for me im completely content with me going to University of Arizona next year. Gamertag: King Arizona

You're an ACC guy :P I'm more of a Big East guy. I'd go to Pitt, Syracuse, NOT UCONN, Villanova, etc.. I'd go anywhere of the 4 major schools in Boston: BU, BC (BOO! BC STINKS!), Northeastern, Harvard I wouldn't mind going to school in the Mid-West (Chicago) Or Florida, FSU, The U, or Florida, or FIU, SFU, or anywhere else down south. Maybe Arizona State or something. My parents lived in Arizona with my bro and sis for a little while.
