Your probably right, so I will take a look into that tomorrow probably. As for my spec, I never really was too much into being specific about it, so i went all into feral. But I guess there is some stuff in resto that is useful.

 

 

 

I'm guessing you didn't take Omen of Clarity then? It's low down in the resto tree but it's basically a must for improving your DPS.

Ya, I didn't take omen of clarity. It's simply because I used to be both feral and resto before WotLK talents came out, but after i got all my talents back, i just tried going down the feral tree all the way, and never went back to change it.

 

 

 

I was actually looking at that build you posted. My only problem with it is its a pure dps build. I can't do any tanking with it (which i will probably have to do in heroics, and later in raids). Do main tanks ever have to output a lot of dps? (like around that 3k dps mark?)

And teh last i said i was going for the For The Horde Achievement, yeah got to velen where some level 60 ret pally was so eager to start that he engaged him, nearly died so i popped my Naures Swiftness+ Healing Touc macro to boost him back to full...an ended up tanking velen will 55% where our tank and the others finally arrived.I and 4 others were the only level 80's and we pretty much carried them all through it.

Well we go by a general rule of thumb with our dpsers, if they are below the tank on dps then its no acceptable.Our tank is not particularily wlel geraed compared to others in 25 man guilds but he can do 2.4k dps normal, and 3.2k exploiting that cooldown pug using lower ranks. So 2.4k plus is the benchmark and that isnt partiularily high, Rogue(nearly full valoros) and hunter (not as well geraed because he was being outrolled all the time by other hunters) in the guild do at least 3.5k on youre average stationary boss enounter.

I switched from trial to regular before the trial was up and didn't encounter those problems. However, I bought a physical version of the game. It can take awhile before your account is upgraded according to their site.

 

 

 

 

 

Managed to tame Humar, the Pridelord today. So now I has awesome black lion. Still can't think of a name for him though. :(

And this is the one thing I hate about this game. The people. I'm getting a group together for H Nexus, and I say "LF capable tank then g2g" some guy whispers me saying "I can tank". So we get to the instance. First fight and he can't keep aggro. My pet dies (out aggroed him with growl off) and our warlock dies. We rez him. Next fight. A mage and the two dog things. He loses aggro again, and the dog attacks another guy. The only reason our spriest doesn't die is because my pet manages to offtank it. Next fight, is versus one guy. The only death is my pet, which out aggroed him again. Next fight is versus three guys. The tank keeps aggro on one guy. I get attacked by the second, so I feign. The archer guy attacks our healer, and my pet manages to keep it stunned long enough for us to kill him, and then onto the guy our tank was able to hold. Next battle is the boss battle. I say "Ok, boss battle, hold on." Tank goes into combat. I say "Here is the plan:" Tank pulls. We wipe, I feign. I say "What the [bleep] man?" No response. "This is [cabbage]". I leave party.

Working on sartharion with 3 drakes. The fight is kinda tricky with the 3 debuffs and if a tank or healer dies its pretty much game over until we can all stay alive till the 3rd drake...That magical attempt will come soon enough.

I was doing a couple yesterday with a tank from my guild, so I know we both had good gear, and we ended up failing at the last boss of HC AN, why? because the dps werent even putting out 3k dps between all 3 of them.

 

so I said

 

"put out more than 1k dps each PLEASE"

 

"and if you cant, then gtfo heroics"

 

 

 

and all 3 of them left, followed by whispering me that I was a [developmentally delayed].

 

dps suck balls.

They must seriously suck [wagon] ff they can't put out 1,000 dps at 80 as a DPS class considering I'm able to put out about 350-400 as a level 64 Holy Pally in quest greens #-o

I just tried to max out my dps with a deep holy raidhealing build, in semi naxx / hc gear and managed to sustain 1.5k dps. If I can do it, goddamit a rogue can too.

our tank was putting out more dps than the dps, and I had about 500 dps going on that bit as well since I didnt need to heal the tank that much.

The good thing about being a dps is I know I can put out 1600 dps, so even if the other two suck at the game, we'll still move through to some extent.

You know you need a feral tank with 45k+ HP being healed by a holy paladin with a holy pala on the drake tank exchanging beacon of light? Right? :P

 

 

 

Also, you need to have insane DPS to get down the first drake, Tenebron. Try with 1 drake making sure Tenebron goes down just after the first set of eggs hatch (It is possible without Heroism/Bloodlust but I recommend you use it to begin with) and if your DPS can't pull it off then you won't be able to do more than the one drake. Once you've got this down practice the next step.

 

Your guild needs practice with Shadron AND Vesperon up, not using Heroism/Bloodlust until the boss, so you can control it. Your feral tank will be taking 75,000 damage flamebreaths which need to be mitigated with Barkskin and Survival Instincts, with a priest (You should have a priest healer in your raid) putting up a shield on him.

 

 

 

When you can get past these 2 seperately, you can then start going on with 3 drakes, but it's a huge step. Our guild is on 10-Man with 2 drakes now, since we don't have enough people for 25-Mans, however most are fully Naxx10 geared so we shouldn't have a problem once we've recruited enough for 25-Mans.
