Man, my friend's Guildy has the coolest new hobby thing to do in WoW. He plays 5 characters at once. He's levelled one team to 70, which was 4 Draenei Shammies and a Draenei Paladin, and he ran almost every instance along the way. He's thinking of doing it again, only this time with 4 Mages and a Shadow Priest.

Honestly though what person would pay $75 a month just to play WoW...

It's certainly nothing new though.

I meant new in the sense that he only just started doing it, but yeah, the cost is one of the things that'd put me off it. Plus the cost of the 10 discs on top of the $75 a month.

Ok got my account back now.My account was banned by blizz because of an attempted hacker which i was dumbfounded by because i use an authenticator.Anyway i freaked out whne i tried logging on and it said i was banned so i sent a ticket to blizz and got absolutely nothing.Im guessing because of the blizzcon fiasco but it left me fuming because of all the time i put in to just getting to 70 and left me jaded.Anyway i got an email from blizzard this morning about it and that my account was reinstated and that someone was trying to force there way in despite the authenticator and then try to unattach it so they just froze my account till i scanned my computer and changed my password.

The threat of a keylogger would have worried if i didnt know that i would be getting a new rig in a few weeks but i was so [bleep]ing pissed whne it told me i was banned. Its also left me not wanting to play the game for a while because summer holidays are winding down, expansion is comig up and im completely enamered with burnout paradise,

can't you just make ten trials and upgrade them so you don't have to pay for the disks?

But, you don't want to endure the 4 hour download of the game... maybe more.

Just bought the full version, it's taking a [developmentally delayed]ed time to download.

Why not when you're going to be spending 200+ hours leveling them to 70? Also, does the guy use 5 separate computers, or does he pull up 5 different windows to do this? Does 1 do all of the work while the 4 follow?

this site has a really cool rundown of what multiboxing is all about, with some nice images and videos. I levelled with the guy on the new server for a bit, he was doing a 5 orc shaman team. Far from being a complete no lifer, I was levelling faster than him, and he was completely normal, at least he seemed that way. Spent a lot of time just chatting on /g.

The main screen (Tank) runs the fastest, while the other four go at about 15fps, though he says it's unnescessary for them to be fast, as he can just switch views to the main screen if one of the Shammies gets in trouble.

No it pails in comparison to that one little dude in china who 10 boxed karazhan.I think he just used classes who didnt take muck work with helaing, dpsing and he focused on the tank but yeah piloting all 10 of the players is pretty crazy

-.- WTF, no freaking way you are running it lag free. My laptop is 10X better then your computer and I get FPS problems all the time. BULL.

In any case, you can't 'change servers' like you can in Runescape. All characters are on specific servers. But if you want to go to another server to start new characters, there is a button at the top on the right of the character selection screen to change. If you are in America, unless you have friends you want to play with, go play on Burning Blade and make a horde character :P

It's probably because there's nothing graphics-intense when you first start out.

'Finally Shattrath!' *Enter* */g WTF LAGG*

15 minutes later

*/g Hooray I moved a bit!' #-o

Anyway, doing JC got from 137g -> 4.5kg in 4 days playing about 40 minutes each day on the moneymaking part.

I'll have my epic flyer in no time!

And I finally got the Spellstrike Hood pattern from the Grand Warlock in Shattered Halls! And we also finished the Executioner with 43 minutes to go. :D

Actually I barely lag in Shattrath. I find that I have more problem in Hellfire then any other region of outland (then again I still haven't been to shadow valley, blades edge, and nether storm.)

rocco, I suggest maxing out 1 character rather than all 3 at the same time. When you hit 70, you'll be able to get the gold for your other 2 accounts basic mount in 1-2 hours easy.

Still no Hex Shrunken Head or Hood of Hexxing from Zul'Aman, I'm going every reset too... :(

I have 3k G now and have enough stuff in AH to bring me to 6k G! That means I can get my Epic Flying Mount and start grinding Netherwing Rep!

And I got a new UI!
