Getting really pissed of with trying to do Sunwell Dalies on a PVP server, this week ive only managed to finish them all once before ive gotten fed up of being ganked and logging.

Yeah, that's why I play PvE servers. Much easier to do everything.

Has anyone else got a patch which is named "Wow-2.4.3-to-3.0.1-TBC-EU-Update". It's taken me 9 hours to get to 2%. It's only 992MB so should be done by now with my computer, I left it on all night with nothing else running.

 

I think it must be a precursor to the 3.0.2 patch so instead of downloading it then, you download it now and have the world's quickest patch when 3.0.2 comes out.

 

 

 

Well anyway, I think this computer will be left on for about a week or 2 before it finishes, unless it picks up speed. At least it's a background downloader so I can play WoW at the same time.

Question: I just got to 70, and I need to know what I need to start getting ready for tanking heroics/kara. I am a feral druid obviously. Anyone got tips?

Don't even bother getting geared right now. A month away from the cap raising at by the time you're 80, all of your epic items will be replaced by greens. My advice, relax and enjoy brewfest before you repeat the grind all over again. :thumbsup:

The only think which is keeping me playing wow till 3.0 is recruit a freind.45 the shaman mage ive got going on with my dad and one of my old freinds wants to level a paladin up for wrath so we now have a level 18 pally/warrior combo.I think im done with Pillywiggius the gnome warrior, i might play him in wrath to see the alliance story but i wnat to link my characters on one server than have 3 70's on 3 differant servers.

I know i can't get into BT or the sunwell, but I still wanna try for some basic stuff. I just want to know the right direction, cause I am pretty lost. I was told to get all my honoured rep gear. Is this the kinda thing I have to get, or will i have to run normal instances first and get gear that way?

The thing is, all your kara gear will be replaced by greens and blues by 72-73, just from world drops and 5-mans. I heard that if you're full t5-t6 your gear will see you right up to the late 70's.. like 78-80, but for kara and entry level epics it'll be a lot of effort for maybe a month or two's use.

If you get honored with some of the Outland factions (Honor/Thrallmar, Lower City, Sha'tar, Cenarion Expidition, and a few others I forgot) you can get some nice blue gear that would be a great start for instances. If you have honor points, buy an epic or two. Once you got the full set of the blue gear, try instancing for your epic gear.

 

 

 

But at the point WLK would be around the corner. But you can do a few heroics before then.

Ok, thank you. That was the response I was looking for. I have only ever completed a few outland instances, due to the fact my groups always suck for other things, so I just want to do a few instances, then go for heroics, and maybe kara is at all possible.

:D just found out today that theres a midnight launch at one of the gamestations near me. SO going. I dont care if its a weekday.

can you check if there is going to be a midnight launch in london HMV or GAME

pre ordered it for my friend as i don't live far from an EB and turns out their having a midnight launch, launch is fri/sat night and my final igcse is on the Tuesday Wednesday before it so might as well go for the fun of it.

Im guessing the branches of HMV and Game in the centre of London will have a midnight launch, they do for every other game and there normally the ones where all the press are.

im guessing midnight launch will be 10th or sumfin?

Cleared Kara for the first time yesterday, pretty happy considering the guild has been trying for a while. Glad i did it before WOTLK made it obsolete.

 

 

 

Im starting to grind rep with a load of different factions atm, my aim is that when Wrath comes out with the new titles ill have about 5 to choose from.

I know this may be a little...odd and out of place. But a few friends from school want me to start playing because nobody i know plays runescape. theyre all horde and say i should make either a hunter, rogue, or priest. im looking at hunter maybe rogue

That depends. You wanna be kick [wagon] if you have a moderate comp/internet, kick [wagon] and have a really good comp and internet connection, or a vital part of the team (healer) but not so much kick [wagon]?

im on a laptop, but i have dsl, i had no problems doing the trial so i dont think itll be that bad.
