Wait, what? :( Blade's Edge Mountains looked so awesome from the trailer video. All those dragons impaled by [bleep]es. I really looked forward to questing there.

What isn't quite as fun is the fact that the first thing I did was replacing my t1 gloves with some blue ones - and I almost replaced my t1 shoulders with some green ones. Oi vey...

I near enough cried when I found a green chest to replace my tier 2 chest. And the tier 3... >_<

On the bright side, it seems like Neltharions Tear is still worthwhile, so I'll get to keep at least one epic item. "Yay".

Thunderfury got hardcore nerfed and there are way better tanking weapons available now.

Our MT is using the Kings defender from the Chess Event.

An almost equal sword is this from heroic mech.

On a side note, I got my dagger from Prince. /bow to me. :XD:

I like it better then the sword from Gruul \'

The problem with the gene pool is that there's no lifeguard.

You know that server I transfered to? Well I went there to be with my two RL friends and now the entire guild is transfering to a new server, which would allow them to be one of the top guilds ever (if they merge.. or something). And I just shelled out 25 bucks. I'm not going to do it again. Kinda sucks because I really enjoyed playing with my two friends. Not sure what I'll do now. :(

im considering getting WoW, is it easy to get into?

Oh heck yeah. Just the first hour of playing you'll learn all the basic mechanics, hotkeys, and pass the beginner's area. It's only 20 bucks for the base game and a month of free playtime, which was good enough for me.

Anyway, dinged 63 like 10 minutes ago and I still can't believe the outlands gear. Just since I got 58 my +spell damage has gone up to 450-520 (depending on demonology buffs). Good thing I started just a little before BC came out, saves me the heartbreak of having all the tier 1/2/3 gear going obsolete in an instant :)

im downloading the trial now, but it says i appear to be behind a firewall and the download is taking ages (currently will finish in 28 hours)

Youch. If you have a friend who has the game, try bumming one of his 14 day free trials. I've still got all mine if you want a code (you still need to install the game though).

WoW europe have a 10 day trial, ive already signed up for it. Just need to download this then do the automatic updates.

Another question, is it worth getting the expansion pack just yet? or should i wait untill i have a better character to play it with?

Considering the expansion costs twice as much as the base game, i'd definatly put off buying it for now. Theres absolutely no new conent for people levels 1-58 (unless you really really need to play a blood elf or draenei that badly). Who knows, maybe by the time you get to 58+ the price will have gone down (that's what I was hoping for :P )

You can obtain level 375 in your skills at level 50.

Mage portal or warlock summon into Outland and you just have to make it across to the trainers. Rogues are best at this because of stealth.

Notoriously Trollish.

I had a 15 minute argument with a moron Warrior today about this. He said stealth was a p___y way of playing.

IMO it is, because rogues advantages are getting the head start and suprise. But then again, mages at 6_ get that invis move.

what would be the ideal class and race for a newbie? also which proffesion is best for new people?

I would probaly recomend playing a 'pure' class as a first, or namely:

Rogue

Warrior

Mage

or a Hunter/Warlock is a good choice as well. (pet classes are easy).

I wouldn't recomend hybrids as much for a first just because it can be a bit harder to play them to their full extent. Really though just pick what sounds fun.

As far as proffesions I would go skinning/mining or skinning/herbalism if I were you. The reason is both are gathering professions and allow you to make money faster. Don't go herbalism/mining however because they use the same minimap Icon (to search for nodes).

And about rogues: They need that stealth because it is their way of getting up to ranged classes. Other wise we'd have to blow a sprint or something every time we wanted to.

Depends if you're gonna solo a lot or play with mates, Rebel. Warlock/Hunter are good for solo-ing, you'll never be short of a group as a warrior for your tanking ability, rogue for pure DPS and so on.

Thought of a server? If you've got mates you know on a certain one, go for that, if not, Terenas is a nifty PvE. (I prefer PvP but my silly sausage friend picked this server to play on >.<)

I have no problem with rogues. Perception>Rogue :P

Seriously, if you've been playing WoW for as long as I have you can get to 60 in no time.

Let's suppose you got to 60 in 14 days played which is around the average amount of time it takes.

14 Days= 336 hours. Supposed you played for 3 hours a Day that would take you 112 Real days. Which is about 3-4 Months.

So 6-8 Months is all it takes for 2 60's for a "casual" player.

Yeah, it's the epic's that really gives it away, because no raider is ever going to manage by only playing 3 hours a day. Getting to 60 (or now, 70) is relatively easy and will come sooner or later as long as you play the character. Raiding on the other hand requires some actual effort.

... what's a life and where do I loot one?
